The only way the Raiders will cover is via a backdoor cover or if it rainsThis game perfectly sets up Denver pass rush since the Raiders got no running game. I can see Dumerville and Miller combining for 5 sacks with several fumbles. Palmer might even get knocked out.

I don't know Pauly-I know what you're saying and -10.5 or so is a big road number but McFadd can't be anywhere near 100 and the rest of the team is obviously in distress. As for DEN-Mile High Report took a look at the current playoff seeding scenarios after the game, and there is a good chance for the Broncos if they can win the rest of their games:

Still very interesting. Only the Ravens could clinch by winning out. In that scenario, even if they ended up in a tie, they would have victories over both us and NE. The Pats have to stay one game ahead of Baltimore, so they are looking to win out and have us or somebody else beat the Ravens. We have to win out and hope that NE loses a game somewhere. Of all the remaining schedules, on paper at least the Ravens have the toughest slate to end the year, with the Pats just behind them with games against SF and HOU. Bottom line, we should see this Broncos team playing hard until the end of the year or until their position is secure---whatever that may be.

Prob DEN and the big spread or nothing for me. Luck though

Denver's D/special teams will score (or setup scores) as much as Oakland.....then you add in PFM. Broncos and Raiders don't get along......Denver won't overlook this one. Did the Indians overlook Custer?

I won't bet on Oakland but maybe they give it their all on national TV....these Thursday night games tend to be kinda quirky.

As a double digit road favorite on a thursday night, denver might be the "squarest" bet ever. And probably the right one. Oak too banged up and have quit. Palmer is a quitter too. He may not last the whole game. Could see him taking a couple shots and pulling himself.

I'm all over Den, just hoping the line drops to 9.5 or i'm buying .5pts because its now -10 on my book.

Denver has been good to me all year, they are solid no reason to believe they won't cover. Manning gets at least 3 TD's tonight, field position from good D will net Broncos at least 2 FG's. That's 27 points right there without thinking about special teams, or a pick 6. Bottom line Broncos score 30 points tonight, and i can't see Oakland scoring more than 17 points maybe not even 14 points. A lot would have to go right for Oakland to score 20 points this game, if they score 20 points i think Oakland has a good chance of covering but i don't see it happening.
