Roethlisberger is the root of the problem. The "O-Line" has been a bit more effective the last few weeks and surprisingly effective against the Titans, And the run would be stellar if Ben would show some efficiency with his passes and not throw an INT every possession. Leftwich is def' the man right now.
I'm a Steeler fan. It starts with the O-line. Ben is on his back half of the time. I think he has the most sacks of any quarterback this year. Steelers better address this shit in the off season. Their 1st round draft pick better be offensive line. 2nd pick....offensive line. 3rd pick....offensive line. I will say this though, some of this is Ben's fault too, the guy holds on to the ball to long. Throw that shit already.

it was unreal when pittsburgh picked a RB first round this year, and not an o-linemen after having a bed o-line last year AND losing Faneca..
hell when was the last time they drafted a rb first round? Franco?
I can understand why they took Mendenhall. That was great value for them. The guy was projected to go 15th or better and fell in their laps late. they had to pull the trigger. But, you're right, they should have signed someone in free agency...or at least draft an o-lineman in the 2nd round instead of taking Limas Sweed. The only reason they took him was because Ben wanted his tall reciever. well fvck, how has that worked out this year? has the guy even played? I dont think they'll make the same mistake twice. They'll address the oline situation this off season.
The OP couldn't possibly be more wrong. Every ill that plagues the Steelers offense stems from the horrible play of the offensive line. The offensive line has not played better recently. Beating the Browns didn't prove anything, it was the last game of the season, and the Browns didn't want to be there. And that comes a week after the worst performance by the offensive line the entire season. Tenn was missing their two best defensive linemen, and they were still able to get pressure on Ben, and stop the run without blitzing more than a handful of times the entire game.
keep those words in mind. I'm a Steel man through and through and If Ben goes in Lord knows i'll be cheering my ass off, but we will more than likely lose with him leading the offense.
