Electric razor or standard blade?

I hate shaving, I really dislike it alot, I always cut myself, its just unpleasant and alot of work. I would like to use an electric razor but Ive tried even the most expensive brand Wal-Mart sells and it didnt work worth a shit, I use a Bic Sensitive razor and I mean its like a fukin extra chore that would be so great if I could just buy an electric razor and be able to shave while watching TV or something instead of going through the old lather up Barbasol then tryin to avoid cutting or razor burning myself.

What do you guys use and what electric razors do you recommend, my friend says he has the same prob and its b/c his hairs grow in diff directions and you have to like "train" your hairs to use an electric razor, is this true or are electric razors just not worth a shit?

You lather up shaving cream then run a razor blade up and down your face tryin not to cut yourself too bad, its terrible, what electric razor do you recommend

I use a mach 3 and never cut myself. I prefer regular old fashion Barbasol foam with aloe. and after I shave I them reapply the foam and keep massaging it in.

I've used a regular blade since I was 14-15, just shave in one direction and you shouldnt cut yourself

Electric by a mile. I use a Norelco and buy new a new one every 2 years.... .I only shave once a week though... I should shave on a daily basis, my hair grows in fast on my face but thank god I answer to myself and nobody else for work.

Sportslocks we all know ur not old enough to shave now go to bed u got your first day of high school tomorrow its a big day. Are there any electric razors thats effective, I really dont want to shave with a blade if theres an electric that works, cost is not an option Ill blow 200 if theres some fukin great electic shaver that actually works

That's the most expensive electic razor that Wal-Mart sells, I bought it a year ago, tried it, it sucks!

Norelco huh, what model? Also is it just like some guys cant shave with an electric b/c I tried that Braun 360 which cost me like 150 at Wal-Mart and it sucked, maybe my hairs grow in diff directions which make me unable to shave with electric razors idk

I am actually using it right now, I have used most of the models made by Norelco and this model by far works the best for me. This one is not their most expensive either but it does the best job. I am currently using a Norelco Spectra 8825 XL. Go get one...

I dont expect it to be as good as a real razor but the Braun was a total letdown Im starting to think you guys have hairs that grow in the same direction which gives u a more effective electric shave, maybe u use that lectric shave chemical stuff Wal-Mart sells thats supposed to be good for electric shaving, gets ur hairs to stand up straight or something, Ive never tried that

NO man seriuos best shave ever and smooth haven't done it in forever though. Actually only had it done once, was at the mall.I went to get a simple crewcut dident know it was one of those fancy places this girl just did it diden't even ask.I was young maybe 18-19 at the time can't recall what it costs but i'm sure it was the most expensive crewcut of all time.

Nothing compares to blades unless you have light hair and noth tough and thick. Most have to use a blade. I think possible if you use an electric 2x a day it might work but then the thing wears out and the heads are xpensive and screens to replace.

Regular, I also shave my head and nothing leaves it as smooth as regular blade, besides, I tried using an electric shaver once and my head's skin broke really bad.

I've considered growing a beard, but Im really just not a beard kinda guy, instead of lookin like Im tryin to pull off a look whenever I let my facial hair grow I just look like a degenerate too lazy to shave

It seems like Mach 3 is the winner here and that most dont feel confident in the shavin quality of electric either so Im gonna give the M3 a try and see if that makes shavin a lil more comfortable
