Warren Buffett Offers To Pay $1 BILLION For A Perfect March Madness Bracket
NEW YORK (MainStreet) — Your office March Madness pool is chump change. Think you've got the line on this year's NCAA men's college basketball tournament? If you pull off a perfect bracket, Warren Buffet will pay you $1 billion. Yes, that's 'b' as in basketball.

I read where you have to predict the winners and the final scores of each game. I could be wrong.

yup.....still a cool offer...I guarantee he has Berkshire Hathaway buy the risk for much cheaper....same thing with hole in 1 contests.....costs about 5-10K to give away a million if I remember correctly...

Quicken Loans is the one offering the contest.

A Warren Buffet company (Berskshire Hathaway) is providing the insurance backing.

They provided the same insurance when Pepsi had a billion dollar contest a while back.

except it's not nearly that hard. seems we have to have this discussion every year. those are the odds if every game is 50/50. clearly they are not.

I might be wrong but I think Quicken Loans & Dan Gilbert is using this publicity as well. You might enter on the Quicken Loans website later. Who knows? All business though.

Even with above average basketball "knowledge" the odds are still like 128 billion to one. A perfect bracket has never been documented and probably never will if the NCAA keeps adding teams.

99.99% of all brackets don't even get the first two days perfect.

A major university estimated that if every adult in the United States were to fill a bracket out every year, that it would take 437 years to get the perfect bracket. Its worth a shot but you need more than luck on your side.

The link is ready. Only the first 15 million registered users will be allowed to enter. But of course they want to spam your email and yahoo wants to verify the account by linking your cell phone number to your email. I haven't completed mine yet. Still debating.
