No Immor., Duck had a fire sale-

We lost Pahlsson, Moen, Huskins, and Montador

At least we got Eric Christensen, who is one of the best at shootouts which is an area we need help in

I don't understand what the fvck we did. The moves make no sense to me. Why if we had a fire sale didn't Pronger go as well?

Im hoping Pronger and Giguere go in the summer, we have been so handcuffed by the salary cap for so long, and we needed to relieve some tension. Best we can hope for now is that our prospects step it up next year.

I think the asking price for Pronger was to high when you factor in the Cap. Probably easier to move him in the offseason, when teams have more roster flexibility.

                Winners:

                East:

Boston - Add a veteran presence in Recchi who has been producing very well this year. And a solid top-4 defensemen in Montador.

New Jersey - Nik Havelid is a great fit for that blue line, and a very underrated player.

Pittsbugh - Added Guerin for very little, and counting Kunitz had a very good trade season.

Toronto - Flipped Moore and Antropov for two 2nd round picks + the rebuild is on.

                West:

Cagalry - Leopold and and Jokinen are big time additions, although they had to pay a little for them.

Phoenix - Got good value for Carcillo, Morris, Tellqvist and Jokinen.

Edmonton - O'Sullivan and Kotalik for Cole.

I almost forgot how nicely stacked phoenix came out of this situation with Upshall, Prucha, Dawes, and Kalinin. Very satisfying 2nd tier players to help build the future and core of their team.
