#39Doesn't matter what SBR offers with Poker or even just other contests. People will always find a reason to bitch.
Absolutely embarrassing.
If you don't like this contest - go to another forum that offers one that suits you better with their poker software.
Oh wait... you won't bloody find one, now will you?Comment -

4. If a Non-Pro finishes in the top 50 for points won during the daily tournaments, he/she must become an SBR Pro within 48 hours to avoid forfeiture of their Grand Finale seat.Comment -
#42Good stuff SBR, dig the daily format! Have to say that a lot will hinge on the format for the final tourney though, and to a lesser extent the dailies themselves...50 people in the typical daily blind structure is going to degenerate into the same type of shovefest the last final turned into, and that's certainly not what you'd want for the dailies or the final. If you can extend the blind structures a little bit for the dailies and a lot for the finals (as in past championship-type events) it will make the format much better. If this isn't done, I expect a full refund of my entry fees for every tourney played in this series
As for the prize being worth more to US players...that is the bulk of players here for starters, but beyond that, having to pay $2k travel for a $10k ticket is still a pretty good deal, and a hell of an experience. I'm sure any 2nd place folks would be glad to trade with ya if you win
...only 5 places paid with (more likely to be full) 50 man tourneys for the next 3 months? Bobbo doesn't stand much of a chance...anyone still offering a reasonable line on Donk?Comment -
#43Shari, do you have a problem with a 450lb mexican with a cigar in his mouth and his pants half down? If not do you have 7xxxxxxx shirts. lol If so ; I will gladly let autodonk or rocket go for a cheeseburger tomorrow.Comment -
#44amazing

#47Early prediction:
I'm winning this!
That would piss a few people off.Comment -
#48Great Promo....no bitching here!
i do have a request though....the final tourney needs either a bigger starting stack or slower blind levels. That way it does not become an all-in fest.Comment -
#49With the possibilities to win Millions.
For most all of you this is an opportunity of a lifetime.
I'm sure that most of you wannabees couldn't or wouldn't ever be able to have the BALLS to put up $10K for a poker tournament.
A lot of you guys forget that win or lose it doesn't cost you a penny.
A few years ago SBR did something similar and sent Fuzzy Dunlop to the WSOP for his chance. Fuzzy we need your input.
So quit your Bitch'n about the payouts and format.Comment -
#50We need special SBR gear for the winner of this to wear during the WSOP.Comment -
#51Looking forward to seeing how the new format plays out. Never have played a Texas Hold'em tourney in person (not even locally). Would be neat for the first time to be in WSOP (I can dream, right?).Comment -
#52If I win SBR would be fortunate. All it would take is one idiot at the table to say something and I'd be on them then the cameras would be on me.Comment -
#53
So this format may allow you to keep it close until the end of April. But when the format changes in May, it's back to you getting smoked again.Comment -
#54Yeah Dane, My sentiments exactly! As if the ring games weren't dead enough already! Now only a top 5 pay out for the dailys? Go fuk yourself with this format SBR! Who ever dreams up this stupid shit should have their fuk'in head examined!Comment -
#55"$500 travel credit for airfare and lodging" That would barely buy the fuk'in plane ticket to get there, let alone logging! I guess who ever wins could stay in some fuk'in flop house for the duration. What a fuk'in joke! Expenses for the last time they ran this was $2000. Now it's a bullshit lesser daily payout, a measly $500 to hopefully get you there and find a place to stay. Yeah right.

#56It's not about it being part of life. I get that.
But I also know behind the scenes how much effort goes into sorting this out to offer you guys. Even a little contest like my tennis ones for Betpoints from a book sponsor is a massive ordeal. It's just frustrating when I hear what else is being offered at comparable forums - ie nothing - and yet every single time the poker crew has something to bitch about. For such a small segment of SBR y'all sure bitch a helluva lot.
And that's despite getting the most perks of any other little group on here. This whole place is one big poker fest when BTP isn't on so if you don't play poker or don't know how, you're shit outta luck.
Anyway good luck to y'all and thanks Douglas for the work you and the others have and will continue to put in! xoComment -
#57Put on your bluff faces, this is going to be some ride. Interesting to see if anyone runs away with it !!!Hmmmm ?Comment -
#58Damn live poker, no more dancing when I hit a set. That's gonna be hardComment -
#59I don't mind it top heavy necessarily, but this would crush live games....I love the live games so whatever you're working on I hope worksComment -
#60
But seriously though... no way would SBR let some clown represent them.Comment -
-
#62dont think sbr would let that happen eitherComment -
#63An even bigger bubble on the 25th then was on last Saturday
Personally, I like paying top 5, but I would rather pay 10 points and get higher payouts, 5th out of 50 is basically what 11th was before.Comment -
#64Definitely agree here since the WSOP is on the line and it's kind of a grind if you don't know.Comment -
#65Actually, I think it should be more then 500 travel and lodging, a lot of broke dick penetrates here, you guys are taking 20% of the win, put the player up in good accommodations.Comment -
#66
If it's lengthy... you'd need to find a cheap hotel and eat $1.00 hotdogs or something dailymake that dollar stretch.
Comment -
#67I'm going to assume you mean SNG with the ability to buy in with rollover points and I'm running with itComment -
#68Use the poker points you won to make the top 50 to order pizzas to get you through.Comment -
#69could be one day, at least let the winner have a little vacation out of it, I think it usually will take about a week and a half to get to the final tableComment -
