If US players could buy points, that would be one thing. But since we can't I see the poker game dieing here in the near future.Comment -
#143Better yet, raise the buy in to 50 points and add that to the current payout structure.Comment -
#144yep, just too hard to make points now. I got 5th and it took me about 4 mins to roll over my points (all 50 of them). Tried to slow play my AA to generate points but the BB's 10,2 flopped two pair on me. Nobody to blame but myself. I don't see myself at the cash game at all now.

#145Took down the 7pm. 15 1st place finishes qualify me easily? I don't get to play them every day.Comment -

Except no WSOP. Winner gets an all expenses paid trip to Ocala to play heads up tonk vs JJ. You'll have to lend him the buy in though, since he's down on his luck and his roll is getting kinda low.Comment -
#147I'd rather see 1 place play. Everyone starts with 100,000 chips. 30 minute levels. Let true poker skill decide the winner.

But, for the record, I'm not complaining.Comment -

I don't often agree with the Russian, except the 100% fact that seaweed is a lying douche bag who posts the most fuk'in ignorant threads at sbr and is lying spineless scum who broke his word to never post here again, but I gotta agree, worst fuk'in format ever for a poker tourney and not worth all the bullshit for a top 5 payout with less tourneys to play per day.
Trip is also right on the money, why don't you just throw our names in a fuk'in hat and pick one out? About the same odds you'd have try to win this bullshit! Or better yet, let us buy entries in a hat drawing and increase our odds that way, at least some of us would have a chance against the broke dick lucky donk fuks who show up and river their dumb loser asses into a win. Yeah I'm talk'in to you snickerpussy and carsiffer! Sbr must feel sorry for these fuk'in losers and continue throw them the proverbial points bone.
Why someone like these fuk heads should even be allowed to compete is beyond me. Really SBR, is this the kind of so called "representation" you'd want at the WSOP? Major well known and admitted points stiffs? Non contributing assholes whose only goal in life is their next 12 daily points to blow or some "consolidation" loan they promise to pay and never do? I'm almost certain if some idiot was to somehow "miraculously" win the seat, he'd find a way to fuk it up, all while wearing the flying colors of SBR! Integrity should count for something and if you have none here and have fuk'ed over fellow posters, why should you be allowed to participate or represent anything rewarded at SBR, except that you're a fuk'in leech!
Besides, I'm pretty sure this bullshit is already over before it started, we're just too fuk'in dumb or don't wanna believe it. SBR will "choose' whom they want to go and that's the real and only fuk'in deal. Just like our pal "Fuzzydunlop", mysteriously shows up outta nowhere, wins the seat, makes a few videos in Vegas, busts out on the 2nd day and we've never fuk'in heard from him again.
Maybe it's just me, but if "won" a seat to the WSOP courtesy of the good people here at SBR, I'd at least stay on forum, chat up my lucky good fortune and continue to play poker here, all while encouraging new players to jump on board. Fuzzyflop, seems to have disappeared, quite rapidly I might add, just like his chip stack in Vegas. Of course he could still be around, just under a new sbr assumed monicker.
You think you're the driver.... but you're just along for the ride.....Comment -
#150Surprisingly, MikeSpamm making some valid points. Proven loan stiffs such as: SnickerDoodles, Carseller, & MP5070, obviously should not be allowed to participate.
Allowing them to play in poker contests while stiffing & making a mockery of bet point loans, is an injustice to all the honest people on this site.
Doug, do the right thing here.Comment -
#151I agree with what everyone is saying about "something needs to change."
I also understand why SBR structured it this way... they only WANT THE BEST. Yes, a few may get hot.... and you might go on a run. But statistically... the best will position in the final tourney to have a shot at the WSOP entree.
Yes, it's very time consuming (to play daily)... but that's the risk you take in order to get an opportunity to go.
The rest who won't make it? It is what it is... that's life. At least you're getting more experience.Comment -

ab
admit it pussy, the only reason u don't play on weekends (other than ur sitting at an empty hi-limit omaha table for hours hoping some other pussy will come flip with you), it that they cost your cheap broke dick 18thholesportsbook scamming ass points to buy in, and you're not willing to risk your precious little pile of betpoints on them...........
by the way pussy, I won more this weekend at L'Auberge playing real poker than your entire little pile of points is worth........Comment -

#156im up for this .......... got practice sunday night around midnight, when some jackleg hit runnning tens sbr-style to out-boat me on the river, after having called me down way behind with top pair (tho thinking he was way ahead with k ten). I railed on the guy, told him with that kind of luck, he should go to vegas and gamble at a real casino, instead of the shit-hole of a casino we were in, patted him on the back (he was in the four, i was in the five), told him "great hand" in jest, and said a few other things about the nature of his suckout and how clueless he was as too how far he was behind when he reraised my set all in after hitting two pair on the turn, etc. etc.........
fortunately for me, I felt the guy a few round later and get that thousand back, when we get it all in against each other with both of us having hit trip sevens on the turn....... my jack plays against his ten7, so justice prevailed...... but my hellmuth style rant definitely shows i'm up for having espn film my meltdown when I get "sbr'd" at the main event.......Last edited by Auto Donk; 01-20-15, 08:59 AM.Comment -

#158mikejamm complaining that the WSOP is rigged would be pretty epic
I like the format ftrComment -
#159So, can we get the poker working on all platforms now?
I've got the gear.
I could use a polo (blue), they're pretty sharp.
If $500 isn't enough for you to live in Vegas for a week, find a contest that offers better accommodations.
I'd live like a king if someone gave me $500 for the week!
I'll be playing in a few satalites in a month, but this is a good opportunity to qualify for the main event IMO.
(For those who can play from their phone)
Bobbywaves & car seller would be horrible ambassadors for the site but it would be tough to find anyone at SBR who is liked by all. Cant pleaae all of the people all of the time.
There should be an IQ prerequisite or skill testing question.Comment -
#160yah, waves' shady connection to 18th hole and snakeyes sportsbooks alone, and the number of people that are after him and might even actually have him whacked right there inside the Amazon Room of The Rio during the WSOP would probably be the type of press SBR is looking to avoid.........
a wanna-be mobster from trenton with a shady sportsbook or two past just doesn't play well for SBR in Vegas...... good thing he won't even qualify for the final.Comment -
#161Did you guys see the people talking about it at 2+2? theres penetrating sharps playing here at the tables now good one SBR.Some of the sharpest players have set up shop in the tournament. The regular poker guys have no shot anymoreComment -
#162
for example, they'll be expecting to have big hands hold up, won't know how awful kk plays here, don't know how awesome ten three suited is on this site, etc. etc. etc. In other words, they'll get slaughtered here b/c the donks that play here regularly know how to lay down kk, know how to shove with rags, know the dog hand they have that is statistically a 1-4 longshot will actually hit four outta five times on SBR.... they'll see us fish doing f'n retarded things yet mowing them down with our idiotic play and antics!!!! we've all adjusted our play to handle the fck'd up programming on this site!!!
a regular wins this promo for sure......Comment -
#163can you be more specific about this. which subforum was the discussion in?Comment -
#164ive already seen AA get crackedComment -
#165Pretty sure the "sharps" would just buy in with $200+ if they wanted a 1 in 50 or better shot at the main event and not spend their valuable time grinding on SBR for 3 months instead of making real moneyComment -
#166LOL if they need this to get a seat you shouldn't worry. I must say I would enjoy a bunch of new names clogging the 50 man fields and the ensuing drama on this forum.Comment -
#167Some of the "sharpest" guys I know make their best money playing the 1k sngs that start about a month before the main event. First win gets the ticket and when you show them a ticket it's 10k cash money. I'm sure there's plenty that do it at the 220s and 110s too but that variance is brutal.Comment -
#168this new format is horrible
ring games will become a total ghost town
we need 10-12 places paid and 5 times daily with 40 players max 10-13 point buy-in is fine
we need a final that pays at least top 10 guys that slog through months of tournaments to get into the final deserve that at least
the winner should get $1,000- $1,500 to cover travel lodging and food expenses or $500 for travel, with room and board prepaid in VegasComment -
#169one thing I have to add to this and I'm sure not many thought about it, but with this new format, it will be a lot harder for people to payoff their outstanding loans/debts
it doesn't concern me, but just by glancing at Betpoints subforum I see there are plenty of guys out there with big loans that are waiting to be paid offComment -
#170Uhhh...you guys do know the sbr gear you must wear consists of an sbr thong and a poker hat, right?Gonna be awful difficult for espn to get a camera shot down there, but I'm sure they'll find a way.
But what hell....it's for SBR, I'm not complaining.Last edited by mikejamm; 01-20-15, 10:52 PM.Comment -
#171That's nice for a finals, but who the hell wants to do that every day? Who's got time for that shit? There are like 45 dailies. Skill will win out over time. If you played that structure every day the only winners would be those able to spends many hours every day. I'd rather see the dailies come in under an hour each. Max 30 players is best.
But, for the record, I'm not complaining.Comment -

#174most 2+2 posters are fukkin reclusive aspies and fagget poker fan boys, not sharps. There's not going to be some massive influx of new poker players that just take over here. Please.Comment -
#175anyone have a link to the 2+2 sbr poker thread?
