No, co-op means worker owned. Since I wouldn't be owning the company where you employ me, it's not a co-op. Again, no, that is all run by the government and you have no say in whether or not you pay into it. With a co-op, you don't have to be a part of it and can leave.
I'm not for socialism for the rich, I've said many times corporate welfare should end immediately.

Reading between the lines on how you feel about capitalism, you feel we should not be taxed, what we earn should be ours and ours alone and should give freely to any charities or infrastructure projects you see fit? Corporations should pay you what you're worth, pollute to their hearts content and step on any and all who opposes them?
You know history, you know what businesses did to their people and the environment. IDK why you still feel that way.
Govt stepped in to stop the bleeding. That's their primary role, to protect it's people. Now you have business giants
coming in, lobbying, having super pacs buying our politicians to return us back to the old days for nothing more

Goodbye Middle Class: 51 Percent Of All American Workers Make Less Than 30,000 Dollars A Year

We just got more evidence that the middle class in America is dying. According to brand new numbers that were just released by the Social Security Administration, 51 percent of all workers in the United States make less than $30,000 a year. Let that number sink in for a moment. You can’t support a middle class family in America today on just $2,500 a month – especially after taxes are taken out. And yet more than half of all workers in this country make less than that each month. In order to have a thriving middle class, you have got to have an economy that produces lots of middle class jobs, and that simply is not happening in America today.

-38 percent of all American workers made less than $20,000 last year.
-51 percent of all American workers made less than $30,000 last year.
-62 percent of all American workers made less than $40,000 last year.

I don't know what you saw in that article, the only place it mentions military is showing how much red states get in military spending. There are more bases per capita in red states than blue. California has 27 military bases and almost 39 million people. Alaska has 11 and only 750k people. Mississippi has 7 bases and about 3 million. I believe New York has 13 bases and a population of almost 20 million.Comment -
