I'm not sure I understand this.

Denver is a bigger favorite this weekend, and will be favored over New England if they meet next weekend in Mile High.

    What's the thinking behind this?

You hate when I say this GIANT...

    But it's probably rigged.

More publicity for NFL if New England makes it to the Super Bowl again.

I guarandamntee it.... that Green Bay doesn't go to the NFC Championship. That's the only thing I'm near 100% certain.

                  I see it is -1.5 at 5Dimes.

Denver still looks to have an easier road, but I guess this makes more sense.

                  Mods, please destroy thread.

Another thing to look at... if New England barely beats KC.... how could New England be -1.5 point favorites against Denver? There's just no way. Only way this could happen if New England beats KC by double digits or destroys them.

I believe it was Denver -2.5 when I first glanced at it yesterday. But... it could be a mistake? Maybe 5D put the wrong line out?

I could see New England being favored in Denver, especially if Peyton Manning looked shaky this weekend.

                            Wrong.

What happens this weekend has nothing to do with other matchups next weekend besides the impression that will be in the public mind.

Books like kc or den in th afc.

I would probably have to take Denver ML then if New England was favored. Just chance it Manning as an amazing game and Dever's D breaks Brady in half.

That's what I'm saying by impression though. You would only get New England favored in Denver... if NE destroys KC. If they only win by 3... why on earth would you favor them in Denver? Public would hammer New England only if they blow out KC.

If Pats look bad and squeak by Chiefs they'll be a dog in Denver. I think Denver has a good chance of winning big which would influence the line as well.

Denver has Captain 1-and-done as their starting QB. The greatest regular season QB in NFL history with the biggest playoff choke jobs imaginable.
