I can't agree with the Rush tune.

I might also like to add: Freakers ball by Dr. Hook..... I laugh my ass off everytime I hear that song...... the visuals when your chemically enhanced are great

Anything by Pink Floyd or just listening to a whole album.......

Well now it's certain what you were doing in Amsterdam, John.

For my money, I'm gonna take "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band for the best stoner song. Coming in a close second would be "Up In Smoke" by Cheech and Chong, and running a strong third is "Boys From Oklahoma" by Jason Boland & The Stragglers.

Honestly, I can't say I've ever heard any of the songs in your poll, which is surprising considering I'm an audiophile and a musician.

To be sure I'm not into that now. It was a good run though. And the music of the stoner era was so fantastic. Yes lots of Pink Floyd. You turn on the radio and hear new tracks from Zepplin. Then ae the Stones gave way to the Pink Floyds they to gave way to bands like Dire Straights. And by the late 80's there were no more.
