    This.

    Except for the probably part.

There is no precedence for a Victory this Big, were it to be accomplished minus Key Players as is the case here.

      In Normal Weather Conditions, yes.

Wind will be High though, throughout this Tournament.

Wind blows in the direction of Futbol Love here in USA

Remember the first question we asked our selves Rocket

when we were in Minsk amidst the cold and seeing the deer's breath?

      The Wind was so cold

we asked what made the wind blow.

      What makes the wind blow?

Argentina opens as around -220 favorites depending on the book

You can get US win or draw (+.5) at like +180

So yeah like I said Argentina should be expected to win but it wouldn't be a massive upset if US somehow found a way to advance on home soil

Interesting that both teams to score is favored

because suarez has been injured since the last league game? and neymar opted to play the olympics for brazil instead, and barcelona only signed off for him to do one of the two things, and in the end he choose the olympics.

as for messi? it's a well known fact he's had niggling smaller injuries since like april, which is why they've used him sparsly so far in the copa. expect him to play full gmaes now though that it's the knockout stages of the comp.

oh and by the way, you are a f'ing moron who should maybe spend 20 seconds with google before you write dumb sht on the internet.

We will score a goal but unfortunately it will be in our own net.

Mexico quit when it was 3-0...game could have been 9 or 10-0 easy. US hopefully will have more pride than the Mexicans did

The USA's inferior touch really showed last night. We couldnt keep a possession. I hope we can move on past players like Wondo and Zusi... Hell even Bradley looks like shit on basic plays. Bring in Hyndman. Lets play the kids until next WC and see if there is a higher ceiling!

Only reason it stayed 4-0 was because US was playing defense the whole game. At least Mexico tried to score and had a bunch of shots at goal. That left them exposed at the back but the US had zero shots at goal. You can't progress as a soccer nation if you only play defense the whole game.

Your best bet is to stay back, similar to what the Czech successfully did against Spain for almost two halves.
I wish SBR gave away pizza cert for guessing the score correctly in this soccer game. I doubt the outcome would be any different than trying to guess a basketball score lol

Hard to shoot when you never have the ball. US wasn't playing defense, they were playing whack-a-mole.

When you don't have the ball you are playing defense. When you have the ball you are playing offense. It's the same in all sports (soccer, football, basketball).

The point was it wasn't a conscious tactic but more the result of not being able to take the ball away from Argentina, much less maintain possession. But thanks for the lesson

Right. It seemed like they were just happy to get a touch on balls. Every time we got to a ball they just created another 50/50. They made our defense look like athletes who could get there but forget about playing it out of the back. That was the saddest part IMO. Our heralded Euro defense couldnt do shit.
