Didn't know what it was, but it looked interesting, so I checked it out, since it was only 80 minutes or so.
So in a nutshell, everything is captured by a cellphone camera. Filed under "Found Footage" not "Documentary". About a year span of everyday life in one of the shittiest neighborhoods of Atlanta. Dude steals a really nice cellphone, brings it back to his friends and tells one of them to keep it on and film everything. And they do. They usually follow around a guy named Curt, who seems like he's the main shot-caller of the block, since he's the most interesting. Not one boring moment ensues.
Hard for me to tell if it was 100% real, but at least it felt like it was at times, minus a couple of things that made me scratch my head. Like why they sold the rights to this freaking thing. There's crime after crime filmed over and over, with almost nobody's faces blurred. Also, the sound was just a little too good. Anyway...
Also fair warning. There's a part about 5 minutes in where they jack up the volume and it will make it sound like you're slaughtering women in your own house. You'll know what I mean if you watch, just be ready to turn it down if you want.
