Maybe the puck will deflect off someone's skate and into the net. Would be a fitting way to decide the champion.

Meh, line movement is overrated. Been saying that for years. By the time you see it, you get a crap line. Gotta beat everyone to the punch.

Congrats Laker. You and I on the same game, against everyone except Shocka-Kahn. First time for everything.

                                Congrats on the big win.

The stolen goal should be the story. I realize the Predators got 6 or so straight power plays after that and couldn't do anything with it but should be 1-1 going to overtime.

i hammered the under 1.5 goals in the 2nd qtr and got fugged by the empty netter with 10 seconds left. knew it was coming as soon as they pulled the goalie with a min left.

so you're saying it was dumb to take the penguins as a pk last night?

and it was dumb to take cavs in game 4 at +200?

someone definitely knew something... when the line moves that much against a favorite they are "dead on board"... just like always dreaming in the preakness

No buddy, but to hit them at -113? Not as sure. Last night things worked out, but you can't tell me, after the disallowed goal and three posts, the super late goal, etc. that they should have been anything more than a small dog. It worked out in the end, but they held that +120 for 48 hours before caving and it's likely that some real money moved closer to the end....plus you get all the steam chasers.

Anyway, I am just happy it turned out.

                                            i definitely see your point

but no matter how the game played out, it seemed pre-determined based on that line movement, just like the cavs did

if you're not going to chase the steam or bet the side that moves big, my advice to everyone would be just to lay off rather than play the dead side

Nashville got screwed real good in this game. The quick whistle costing them a goal was terrible, absolutely terrible. Sure the ref was on the other side of the goalie and couldnt see the puck but that was a VERY quick whistle given how awkward the save was made. If thats a clear glove save and the goalie sells it with body language then you can whistle it down no problem. But Murray fell on his ass trying to squeeze the arm and it was far from a clean confident save. Then all you have to do is read the body language of the Nashville skaters as they see the loose puck and dive to tap it in, should be obvious the puck wasnt frozen. Ive been watching NHL hockey for years and have NEVER seen such a quick whistle in that situation, absolutely terrible.

I did notice the bogus penalty call on Pit and non call on Nash trying to "even it up" but that shouldnt happen at this level and on this stage.

Also the game winning goal COULD have been reversed due to goalie interference. Hornqvist clearly elbowed Rinne intentionally and it was THAT arm the puck was deflected off and into the net, if the NHL felt any reason to "make up" for that earlier blown call this would have been the spot and I dont think anyone would have complained, you go 0-0 into OT and its all fair at that point.

Bottom line NHL fcked up big time tonight and completed altered the outcome of a game, absolutely disgusting to watch.

FYI I had Under 5.5 and OT +300
