this is by far and away my roughest stretch ever in all of my years gambling...first losing thread ever in my 11+ years on this forum and I'm not happy about it...I'm better than this...I've been crushing books my whole life and making mad bank but I guess turn around is fair play...but I will continue to fight and hopefully be back in the black before pigskin is over...time to go back to the drawing board and reassess the situation...we at least no one can accuse me of not keeping an honest tracking record...

thanks unde0087!......man, i can't catch a fukkin' break to save my life...bet the dawgs, they get crushed...bet the favorites, they get upset or don't cover...horrible officiating, injuries, bad coaching, miscues, penalties, turnovers, inconsistency, parity, etc..( i could go on and on) have made watching football almost unbearable...not to mention handicapping almost impossible...I don't mind if I make a bad play and the team gets their ass kicked fair and square and I lose the wager but when the aforementioned factors come into play and it costs me the game and/or the bet, yes I get fukkin' pissed...

a couple of examples...Ian Book started for ND at QB...basically a game time decision and Kelly kept mum about it all week long...he is a much better QB than Wimbish...If I would have known that from the beginning, I would have never taken wake forest...in the Iowa game, that QB Stanley sucks fukkin ass...I don't care what the media pundits say about him...on three separate occasions he missed wide open WR's that would have been scores and Iowa wins that game handily against Wisky...those two games cost me about 22.5 units or I could have been ahead and had a winning weekend and cashed in big time...but instead I'm on the brink and can't afford too many more hits or I'm done until the playoffs.

I know how you feel. I think I am 2-6-1 in my thread through the preseason and the first few weeks. All that matters is how you finish. Frustrating for sure when everything goes against you but it is the nature of the beast in this business. Just have to weather the storm.

Cousins is legitimately top 10 QB in this league...no and's, if's, or but's about it...for people to trash him and say that he sucks when he played his ass off and had a great game is indeed idiotic...Sam Bradford couldn't even get the ball past midfield!...Derek Carr, another supposed up and comer in this league threw 3 int's including a pick six when the Rams beat the Raiders 33 - 13 first game of the season...Seasoned veteran and upper-echelon, borderline elite, QB Philip Rivers was only 18 out of 30 for 226 yds and 2TDs against this same Rams defense...so, in contrast, Cousins played lights out...I could understand if Kirk went out there and threw 3 picks and the Vikes offense was stagnant and went 3 and out on every drive and didn't score any points...yes, if you want to pile on him then OK you have my blessing and I'm not going to argue or defend him if he shits the bed...just keeping it real, bro...

i said earlier i doubt cousins is in the playoffs this year. he is romo in a different jersey. they have flashes. i trust that mitch trubisky and the bears will win more games. and cousins inherited a nfc championship game team and mitch came into a struggling bears organization. some guys are winners. stafford, romo, and cousins win at the bank and in stat sheets. not when it counts. the season is early. we will see. gl to you.

first time I bet on the fish this year because I, like most others, got duped into thinking that Miami was legit this year...the Dolphins have finally turned the corner...and of'course it would appear that the demise of the New England Patriots has been greatly exaggerated...if you played 13PT teasers yesterday every team in the NFL covered regardless of whom you played (both favs and dogs alike) except for three...dolphins, Bucs, and Steelers.

sup 2dabank......the NFL is usually my bread and butter with teasers...but I've only played one so far this year and lost it last week on Miami (+20) vs. New England......hell, I didn't mind if the pats won the game but like everyone else I got suckered into the hype thinking the Dolphins were legit this year after a 3 - 0 start and the apparent demise of the New England Patriots has been greatly exaggerated...but yeah, now is the time I usually start to heat up...I'm off to a slow start but like I've always told my peeps on here...it's not how you start, it's how you finish...it's not a sprint, it's a marathon.......good luck on your plays as well and I'm happy you doing good and making some mad bank on the teasers!...

I think 3 teams 10 points is the way to go. I've gotten burned too many times on getting all 4 teams to hit...been having good luck with 10 points so far this season.

good luck, I like the 7 pt one with Utah/NW. I think it will hit.

for example....take the pats and falcons in a 10 teamer this weekend and find a 3rd team and you got a great shot.

^^^...i agree 100%...I usually play 3TM 10PT teasers...also 2TM 7PT and 4TM 13PT.......I've also hit long shots several times like 9TM 13PT that pays 3 to 1...but I don't trust the Falcons on the road just yet...they are still dealing with injury issues...this might be the game where Pitt finally plays a complete game and blows Atlanta out...but I do like the Pats in a 10PT...

You may actually see them both cover your teaser spread by 15+ points. Meaning a pleaser would bring in much, much higher return.
