Never really watch hockey seriously but when I do I always enjoy it. My biggest problem though is trying to find where the puck is.

You serious? I grew up with the game but I have heard that before. I remember when they used to show that glowing puck on TV.

Same with every sport...Everyone excited for the sport that is about to start cuz no one is buried in it yet...just like everyone was excited for baseball, now everyone hates it...It is the same thing for every sport.

I don't bet baseball or football except CFL so no it's a long wait for me. NFL sucks now anyway. Haven't watched it in over 5 years. Too much of a circus.

I love watching Hockey in person. It is the only sport worth paying for to watch in person. I do wager seriously on Hockey because I prefer to just kick back and enjoy the games. I definitely plan on going to a game in Vegas, just to see the new rink and team. Looking at the 10/24 game against the Blackhawks.

Always love hockey. But just remember the league is "evolving" to get rid of the fights.

If you're a reader of this thread who doesn't like or know much about hockey, have a hockey person take you to the game and explain some of the basics. The game sells itself. 99% of the newbies I've taken beg to go to another game ASAP.

And playoffs....there';s nothing like playoff (OT) hockey. Even the NBA folks agree that the NHL is far beyond them with the lack of whistles in comparison (momentum) and the parity in the league as opposed to the NBA. You know who's going to be in the NBA Finals in April. You don't know the Stanley Cup finalists more often than not.

Its hard to bet last week in mlb as most games dont matter and are like preseason. Playoffs start in a day though
