    MLB.TV - delay time?
I have the MLB TV premium for my PC and am aware there is a time delay between the live game and the broadcast, I was wondering how much of a delay there actually is.

I do bet "in play" wagers and am usually wary of depending on MLB TV for this.

Also, if you know of a site that updates MLB scores in real time I'd appreciate the link.

    Thanks.

It's not quite as much as JJ suggest, but it's too much to rely on for live betting.

Its about 1/2 to full at bat. (around what corbin said) However if you watch without next def installed or turned off it will be in real time. Without the high def the picture sucks but its not delayed. I have checked with an espn game and a game on mlbtv and they're dead-on without next def. The games tab on the right is in real time but only shows baserunners, inn, and score without outs/strikes/balls etc.

I've experienced 15-25 secs from my mlb.tv from my espn gamecast, when I've had it running for awhile... the audio is more likely to stay on time than the video

You have to take it off nexdef mode and its about 5 seconds delay. Keep it on 4 green bars instead.

if you turn off "next def"/HD and switch to stander mode it will be fine

Not even close to watching games on TV

I would never get it and destroys your PC RAM and makes everything slow

I know someone who tried on their PC and it would crash every time. Glad I got DirecTV and Extra Innings...
