Honorable Mention: Can't buy me love (1987)
I also mentioned Indiana Jones (80's), Tales from the Crypt (80's), The Natural (1984), and Willow (1988)...and Packerd and I thoroughly discussed Big Trouble in Little China (1986)

Old Bill was certainly off on the 80's movie list. He's old cut him some slack. LOL.

I got Star wars wrong but all others I mentioned were in the 80's.

Another underrated Clint Eastwood movie from the 80's was Pale Rider (1985)! Basically a spinoff from his Western classic "High Plains Drifter" (1973) where he basically saves a town of cowards from a greedy land developer and his goonish henchmen..."There's nothing like a nice piece of hickory!"...one of the most iconic movie lines from that era!

Alright then let’s do it. I’m gonna double check every single movie you posted.

                  And Justice For All: 1979

                  Rounders: 1998

Wall Street: 1987 (this is the only one from the 80s)

Wolf Of Wall Street: 2013. Two thousand fukkin thirteen my guy

                  Falling Down: 1993

                  A Few Good Men: 1992

                  Goodfellas: 1990

                  Bronx Tale: 1993

Good movies. Not from the 80s.

another iconic photo from the 80's! on the movie set of "Conan the Destroyer" (1984)...Andre, Arnold, and Wilt!...Arnold was 6'2 and weighed 250lbs. of solid muscle mass. look at how both Andre and Wilt literally dwarf him!...even in Schwarzenegger's own words on his twitter account..."#tbt to one of the rare moments I felt completely puny, with Wilt Chamberlain and Andre the Giant. I absolutely loved the HBO documentary on Andre this week and it was an honor to be part of it. He was bigger than life."

andre with a beer can in his hand!...SMH!!

^ The OG Matrix was solid but that movie was released in the 90's..

The comedy PORKY'S and REVENGE of the NERDS were decent back in the 80's.

Devo was a solid band back in the 80's also, I always thought they made this song off the movie..

I think I first saw this movie when I was around 13 or so. I loved it. I watched it again a couple of years ago and I liked it even more as an adult. I HIGHLY recommend this movie!

Yes, of course, Casablanca. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it yet. Is that John Hughes? I think Molly Ringwald played Ilsa Lund.

Btw, I forgot to mention, that QoTSA cover of Never Say Never is killer!

Glad you liked it. Def one of my favorite covers. The deluxe version of the album Rated R has that song and a whole bunch of other good tracks including a bunch of songs that were performed live at the Reading Festival in 2000.

Since we're on the 80's here's a solid cover of an 80's classic

You've got your Bogart, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre.
Not to mention the stunning Mary Astor.
I heard a rumor that Old Bill was pegging Mary Astor on the side.

Nice! One of my favorite bands Hot Water Music recorded an ep with Alkaline Trio. My favorite song from that ep is HWM's cover of "Radio" by Alkaline Trio. This isn't from the 80's, but somebody somewhere probably thinks it is so...

another iconic photo from the 80's! on the movie set of "Conan the Destroyer" (1984)...Andre, Arnold, and Wilt!...Arnold was 6'2 and weighed 250lbs. of solid muscle mass. look at how both Andre and Wilt literally dwarf him!...even in Schwarzenegger's own words on his twitter account..."#tbt to one of the rare moments I felt completely puny, with Wilt Chamberlain and Andre the Giant. I absolutely loved the HBO documentary on Andre this week and it was an honor to be part of it. He was bigger than life."

andre with a beer can in his hand!...SMH!!

Great to see Wilt getting some respect.

Sosa and McGwire, what a classic 80s battle. Can’t believe no one mentioned that until now. Nothing defined baseball in the 80s more than the classic Sosa/McGwire home run battle of 1998

So, I spent most of my time watching 80's movies when working alone, which was most of the time. I remember putting in the movie below once and the Manager made some wise crack about how terrible it was. Fukk her! And Rotten Tomatoes! I like this movie! It's from 1989... so it makes the cut.
