Had an amazing time going the IFBC in Costa Rica last year!! Is there a way i can still weasel my way in?? I replied to get one of the remaining 9 spots. I really want to be there again this year...

SBR Forum posted yesterday that registration was closed and you also need to be an SBR Pro to get a hotel room and attend the SBR specific events. But if you just want to attend the talks and have your own travel and accommodation sorted maybe just send an email to forum@sportsbookreview.com and see if you can just go listen to the conference

Mate I decided to just gloss righttttttttttt over that one. After seeing Mr First Post Wonder "thedomage" debut today after six years as a member to let us all know how great bobbywaves and no1athome are at poker in that crackhead thread, I've thrown in the towel for the day. I believe most of the initial “winners” of the trip were Youtube & social media followers. There wasn’t any rules with regard to posting here. I believe one of two did make accounts.

We had a very limited number of spots to give away as there were a few cancellations. We filled these openings quickly.

Below is the official itinerary for the IFBC Vegas Bash taking place at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas from Friday, August 24 to Sunday, August 26. Event registration has closed for the International Football Betting Conference.

Day 1

Friday 8/24 Meet & Greet: Grand 3/4 Banquet Room on Casino Floor

6PM-8PM

• Receive your event name tag and gift bag. Name taq required for entry into conferences.

Anyone know how hire a "personal secretary" cheap and short-term? My points are spoken for atm so that is out...

I was already set for the bash (already in Vegas for two months, burnt out, and was having problems with my old car) so I bought a car and decided to take a long road trip (why I bought it) pre-bash and now trying to get to Vegas for some shit Aug 15-19th and, of course, the bash the next weekend. Original plan was to fly back for the pre-bash stuff and drive old car back to Oklahoma to sell and then take the new car back to Vegas for the bash. There simply isn't enough time between the 19th and bash (old car needs work done on it as well) to do this...

Second plan was to go Choctaw in Durant (north of Dallas, Opie's second home...), where a WPT event is currently running, play some smaller buyins and fly out of Dallas (cheaper and more flight options), problem is the main event (which I can't play) is August 7th. Way too early to return to the hellish Vegas heat I finally escaped after trying for two months...

Third option: I found a southwest flight out of Tulsa on the 15th....

Anyhow everything is a mess and need some help...

BigDay can you check if MMAChicka will listen to me ramble for ~two to three hours (non-sexual) and tell me the obvious solution I'm missing? Hundred dollar bill (bitcoin) for her time... Odds of me attending bash now -2800 from -3000...

Anyhow I sat around for quite awhile this morning thinking and debating in my head while I waited for the phone call back from MMAChicka (she still has my number right - the 918 # ) and finally just decided to go with Option #8 (the one I really wanted to do...) fly to Colorado ($38 frontier) and then fly to Vegas ($39 frontier) about a week and half pre-bash. To catch the cheap flights I'm only going to have 24 hours in Blackhawk but that actually works out great because I won't need to pay for bags and can reapply the savings to weed in Blackhawk/Vegas. #keepthebashgreen

Anyhow I have my flights for the bash successfully booked (do I need to forward my flight confirmations to SBR or just post them here Opie-esque style here? ) and SHOULD be Vegas on the 15th.

I also going to be double booked at couple "dive casinos" the weekend before with neither room really needed so, if you and MMAChicka are still coming early for the pre-bash meetup at the Palomino Club/Jerry's Nugget, then you guys can now just cancel whatever you had booked for that weekend as well. Anyhow pal just have MMAChicka call me (918 #...) and I can give her all the specifics.
