Smithy? Has Kalikas's picks been better since he isn't the official oddsmaker anymore? Have you been following it? Haven't watched his videos in a long time.Comment -
#248Fight Completes 1 Full Round (-300)...seems like a steal. There's no way this fight ends in less than a round. 1st round both of these guys will be cautious and very few punches thrownComment -

#252I dont track his results so off the top of my head cant really tell you if his picks are doing well or not. I dont listen to tail his picks anywayComment -
#253Call me crazy, but I think Pettis wins tomorrow. +300 odds doesn't seem right. He looked focused at the weigh-ins.
Tony hasn't fought in a year.Comment -
#254For contrast, I hope Ferguson wipes the floor with Pettis tomorrow.
Pettis always thinks he's the best but he's never willing to put in the work to be the best.

ok yeah agree regardless what his picks are. His knowledge is good content. Back then when listening I kinda felt like he was trying to justify the odds he set. It was us vs. him so to speak. Now he is one of us wonder if I will get a different sense of him.
Interesting.Comment -
#257going big on khabib but seeing him lose would be great for the sport and me personally so I don't have to hear his muslim bs.Comment -

Wow. -300? Sounds like quite possibly the best way to fk off some skrilla on the card. It's gonna be Conor's best shot at landing the KO. He knows darn well that if he's gonna be wrestling, there's a good chance he'll be winded as early as the second round, so may have some urgency in landing a big punch round one. Also, we aren't too sure what Conor's wrestling looks like despite the paid UFC guys telling us it's supposedly tip-top just to prop him up. A first round mauling is in play for sure. These dudes will NOT be feeling each other out for an entire round. My guess would be that's a -180 to even money prop at best. Good luck either way.Comment -
#259Nate Diaz is rooting for Khabib and Conor to BOTH lose at UFC 229 -- saying he already "slapped the sh*t out of both of 'em" ... and neither one deserves to be champ!
That said, Nate also believes Conor is the favorite to win ... because "Khabib is scared for his life."
Diaz says it simply comes down to fight style -- noting Khabib "fights like a scared little bitch" on the ground while Conor will stand up and trade blows like a beast.
"I think Conor has got a way better fight style."
Nate also says Khabib hasn't proven himself against any real quality opponents -- "That fool ain't fought nobody."
Diaz makes it clear he's not rooting for either guy -- he wants a double knockout, so they both lose.
The big question ... would Nate take a 3rd fight against Conor to settle the score once and for all?
"I ain't fighting no trilogy. He already got his ass whipped. He can fight everybody else. I got shit to do too."
Diaz says he's also not interested in a fight with Khabib, because he's boring and he already slapped him during a previous encounter on the street.Comment -
#260I've been seeing the same thing at all sportsbooks in Vegas this week. So why is it that with so much coming in on Conor, the line is steady moving the other way with Khabib going from -150 to -160 yesterday, and now -170? What's the logic in that movement?
Comment -
#26180% of tickets in vegas are on conor, yet the line has barely moved, that means theres more money on the 20% on khabib then the entire 80% on conor. Fade the public and youll win long termComment -

My sources not only show more tickets on MacG, like you say, but they also show an equally disproportionate amount of money on MacG.
Books might respect sharper money coming on the Favorite, but I don't know that is happening.
The bets and money also look to be on the Over, to an even more extreme.
I think Under 2.5 might be the better play here, if fading the public is what you are looking for in the fight.
Good Luck

#270Books are taking a position here cause there is huge money on Connor and this joke of a line is going the other way. That tells me that in no fuking way, if this goes to a decision, Conor has a prayer to win. He can beat Khabib from pillar to post for five rounds and they won't give him the win so if u are betting Conor u better hope he gets it done before five.Comment -
#271Idk if any of you here play Draft Kings but I'm gonna be playing against a couple pals. They both will have Conor instead of Khabib in their lineup. Here is mine...
Formiga
Volkov
Martin
Khabib
Yana
Luque
What do you guys think?Comment -
#272This going to be a great event. The only thing missing is cutman Jacob "Stitch" Duran. God I miss this guy. Wish the UFC hired him back. Why Dana! Why!

#276I'm guessing like he said in the video its the "sharp" money that is keeping the McGregor line from coming down and Khabib being an even bigger favComment -
#277I can't believe how Connor at plus odds is being passed on...
Prepare for Conor to impress and explode even bigger...
The matt is lava to everything but the feet bottoms...the only way Conor stays in lava is if he's dead tired out.
Khabib's bell absolutely will be rung along the way so it comes down to how many punches the rat's skull will be able to handle...
I'm not thrilled about what will be with Conor GOAT talk but I'll be damned if it is Khabib that takes this and enters that discussion...
