C'mon now, is that really a concern regardless? Absolutely no shot at all to go distance. Besides, if it did, similar argument could be made for Khabib not having a shot at winning decision because whatever money Vegas stands to lose, UFC stands to make 100x that in promo off a Conor win.

UFC money is not the same as sports book money son. UfC doesn't supply the judges Vegas does so you think Vegas judges would be more worried about the UFC losing money instead of them lol. That's true. And it might be that Conor's defense is even more affected by gassing than is his offense.

In standup, Conor doesn't defend with his hands. He defends with his footwork and head movement.

When Conor is fresh and his reflexes are tuned, he's almost impossible to hit clean. Every shot is just a little late, or a little short. But when Conor is tired, he is there to be hit, and it's not pretty.

Yeah, that early takedown was devastating to Conor's chances.

Meanwhile in 2 days after the fight Khabib Instagram followers increased from 6.5M to 10.5M. Amazing numbers. Even Ronaldo or Ariana Grande can't do that. Khabib got the exposure he needed and set up perfectly 2nd fight between him and Connor in the next few years. Obviously it won't happen right away.
