#5thanks Kinger.Comment -
#6lol king obviously hasnt been to AC in 5 years. Borgata has the best POKER ROOM in AC and arguably the whole east coast. it is the newest, biggest at 85 tables, spreads atleast 10-15 1/2NL games at all times. you never have to wait. there is always a 500-1000 game going or 100/200 NL. it is packed on the weekends especially this saturday and you may have to wait a little then but it wont be long. there is plasmas everywhere you look, probably 500 in that room with all the games on. the waitresses are the hottest in AC..the borgata babes are the fukn shit!! and you can get any drink you want. shot of patron? no problem. corona? no problem they bring you bottle and a lime. vodka and redbull? no problem sir heres your grey goose and redbull.
the taj is real old and run down and dingy. shitty almost like fold up chairs, borgatas chairs are so comfortable and they have an electronic automated shuffling system. 5% rake up to 4$ is reasonable.
dont go anywhere but borgata or you making a huge mistake fazzer!!!
You've heard the expression "saving the best for last". That describes my experience at the Borgata, without a doubt the finest poker room in Atlantic City. I started my Atlantic City trip with an early Saturday arrival at the Hilton...

You're actually right - I can't stop laughing. The last time I went was in 2004.
Sorry, Slick. I guess the Borgata is the best one now.Comment -

#14Alright.
Where in Jersey do you live Johnny? I forgot.
The last time I was in Jersey (2007, I think) I was down in Cape May. I should've shot up to AC to check out this Borgata joint.Comment -
#15cape may is the southern most part of jersey. like exit 0 on the parkway in jersey termsi am at exit 30.

#16Yeah - I know it is. Actually I was up in the town. I had to bike ride about 5 miles further South to get to the Southernmost part.
The town was really nice though.Comment -
#17yeah I go fishing down there in the delaware bay for slob 50lb stripers.Comment -
#18People talk shit about Jersey but there's some nice areas!
I remember one time I went to Philly - I stayed up in Cherry Hill, though. I couldn't go out in the car 'cause every time I made a wrong turn I'd wind up in Camden. I was scared as ****, *****!
Then they don't let you make left turns and shit -- you gotta make a right and then go straight. F'ing gay!Comment -
#19borgata easilyComment -
#20u the man mr utah!!Comment -
#21I believe Borgata has the largest pokerroom in AC and probably the east coast. My opinion is Ceasars and Harrahs are the best for poker tournaments.Comment -
#22High limit hold'em at the Taj....Where the sand turns to goldComment -
-
#24taj is def a local hang out, but you can say the same about the borgata. i used to play 55$ no rebuy NL tournaments at the taj once a week, you'd see every borgata dealer there. men the master was in town that day and he played that tournament too and was even drinking his corona. funniest dude ever at the tableComment -
#25I once saw Arod at the Borgata he was super big time!Comment -
#26Borgata. No competition here either. It's the Borgata without a doubt. Also the easiest room in AC, imo. Stay away from the Trop and Bally's. That's where the rounders are in my experience. I've never actually played the Taj though...
The Borgata is where all the psuedo-rich wanna be's who have seen poker on ESPN and think they can win by putting on a pair of sunglasses and/or a hoody hang out. Or just the guys with too much money and not enough sense... Either way, it's the place that I always hit at.
Ceasars is the 2nd best place to make money....but only at night. In fact, I'd stay away from poker rooms during the daylight hours unless you are good. The fish come out at night.
Good luck.
EDIT:
I should add after perusing the thread... I don't play high limit. I play 3-5 or 5-10 no.... so there might be more talent at the Borgata at the higher limit tables. But for low and mid limit games, if you go there and play relatively tight you will make money.Last edited by jellobiafra; 07-06-09, 08:42 PM.Comment -
