coach's salary does not count against the cap

they did not feel like he was worth QB money apparently

agreed that it was a big mistake to trade a dominant young defensive player

very interested to see what Gruden got in return

its been reported the cash issues are beyond the cap and the raiders don't have cash on hand to pay players. hell, they gave him ten years so i guess he has time to fix mistakes. maybe.

I give him credit because he did what Tony Dungy never would do.

Make the offense better

Bucs should have won 2-3 Super Bowls with that Defense but Dungy was too conservative.

yah , i find dungy and mike mccarthy so overrated as head coaches, they were blessed to have hall of fame qbs without them avg coaches

He is, but I was really hoping Nelson would fall to the bears.

Tough division so hopefully they don't give up everything to get Mack. Unless the Bears offense figures it out they are still probably behind the Vikes and Packers.

Whoa, Khalil mack is instant sack pressure. Fits right in on paper as the edge rusher or olb for fangio's 3-4.

If he works out it could be alot of short fields for trubisky and nagy's offense

It was funny how that it all worked out with Gruden & Dungy.

Gruden takes over a team with a great defense in Tampa & makes the offense good enough to win a Super Bowl.

And Dungy takes over a a great offense in Indy and makes the defense good enough to win a title.

He got a haul. which is good for a team with a 5 year plan. But this team is supposedly ready to win now. Guys that can pressure the qb are an invaluable commodity and now he has to go the draft and find another one lol. And hope he is 70% as good as Mack cause i doubt that bears pick is gonna be near the top. If Denver, KC, an SD are as improved as people say, his Oak pick may be near the top.
