If the fight is close, the decision should go to the champ. I'm sick of these close fights going to the challengers both in boxing and UFC. GGG won this fight and so did Mighty Mouse.

#107The judges gave him the last round. I can’t really see him winning any of the last 4. He was so gassed he fell during a punch. LolComment -

no one had triple g winning. the best he got was a draw. meaning there is no way he clearly won the fight. in a close fight, it's perception. 2 of 3 had canelo. the other had a draw. no way the guy that wasn't ahead on one card won.Comment -
#109Do you watch boxing?? Ppl get screwed all the time fighting in somone elses hometown, Pac lost a horrible decision to a school teacher(yes, he was a school teacher) in australia a few fights ago because the school teacher was from there, if you go to your opponents hometown you pretty much have to ko them to win, basically just like home cooking in basketball and football
Our standards are declining. But that is no excuse.Comment -
#110Fukk that man
$855 swing for meComment -
#111I had GGG decision +210 and draw +1700, lost both, meh.... Gonna scale back superfightsComment -
#112Dude canelo is probley the biggest star in boxing, he doesnt need ggg to make a big payday hes getting his money regardless of who he fights next, thats how it works when you get on top, ggg needs canelo way more than canelo needs himComment -
#113Triple G had him hurt a Few times. Canelo not once had him hurt. Triple G won all the stats. What am i missing hereComment -
#114Books ARE ALL LAUGHING RIGHT NOW. MGM CG LV ALL CROWING HOW MUH THEY WON. NOT A SUrprise to me at all. Heavy money on triple g with all the steroid shit about Canelo hanging around his neckComment -
#115Guys. Vegas was offering -500 for GGG after round 12 lol. You can’t be more obvious than that. Especially when he won or drew the last round.Comment -

boxing isn't like football. if you score a lot of points in the first quarter you still have them in the 4th. Triple g threw a lot of jabs in the first 5 rounds to get his punch count up and win 3 of 5 rounds. but it didn't matter after that if you threw more when canelo won the other rounds. and jabs are like extra points where power punches are more like field goals. and he did hurt him in the 10th, but it was still a 10-9 round like any other. you see the one cut on canelos face, but triple g face is black and blue.Comment -
#117But that’s like saying field goals don’t add up over time? GGG did way more damage overall. I still don’t get how Canelo was standing or could keep throwing heavy punchesComment -

#119Now I’m seeing odds as high as -600 before the 13th? LolComment -
#120i'll tell you this. watch the fight again. this is what happened. ggg jab is really sharp. he wins 3 of first 4 rounds. canelo much like first fight feeling him out, but throwing shots when he can. 5th round really close and canelo barely edges him. 6th round canelo steps it up as jab has lost all snap. notice his elbow is bent more as he throws it. his 3-1 lead quickly evaporates to a 5-3 deficit. 9th can go either way. 10th is all triple g. its either 5-5 or 6-4 canelo. 11th is close but canelo comes back well after the 10th and probably gets it. 12th round canelo forces the action even verbally challenging triple g to come on. note the first 5 rounds triple g fights him in the middle of the ring. later in the fight canelo stalks him. to a judge that can be considered ring generalship and score you points in a close round if your opponent seems to be backing up. super close and depends on where you had the fight scored in the last 3 rounds. So the 9th, 11th and 12th decided it. canelo in the judges eyes won 2 of those 3 rounds as they were all close.Comment -
#121Dude, one time you said that a decision prop bet on an obscure MMA fight that only an offshore book offered was a Vegas scam. GTFO of here with this nonsense already.Comment -
#122I just went to a site with fighters opinions and not one said Canelo won. Aa few said it could have been a draw but most said GGG won so i will stick to my opinion. One girl fighter said Canelo won and people lit her up lolComment -

#124and the way it all played Out it was but i dont expect a fan boy to think sports are rigged. U fall for most things anyway check ur history.Comment -
#125I thought the fight was extremely close but I had it 115-113 in favor of GGG. I can see the argument for Canelo I felt he was the more aggressive boxer and he executed his fight plan better than GGG whom I agree with the announcers on the fact he should have worked the body more. I did think GGG won the last four rounds but again it was very close and could have gone either way.Comment -
#126I mean at any point during the fight we’re you worried ggg was gonna go down? I saw 3 different occasions Canelo looked like he was seeing GGGGGG
No chance Canelo won 2 of the last 4 rounds. Again I thought it was a draw But I guess I don’t know boxing definitely won’t bet on it again lol sounds like no one gets itComment -
#127Also the casting crew was basically describing how the outcome would unfold. They were so bias to Canelo from round one bc he was moving forward more? Gtfo out of here with the constant creaming from Jones about body shots.Comment -
#128GGG did work towards the late rounds but canelo was very active on the body to the point he broke him down. Canelo was never really dazed although he took shots but g took s worse punishment u can tell by the faceComment -
#129Bro he was a sitting duck in round 10Comment -
#130If it could have been a draw that means either fighter could have won as well. but how often does a guy that won a fight not win one score card? you can say one judge was ****** up, but all 3? the fight was super close, but after the 5th triple g was good in spurts until the 10th. also watch how early in the fight he is in the middle of the ring exchanging shots when his jab is sharp, but backing up from the 6th on. and watch his heavy breathing after the 6th between rounds. that is when canelo stole momentum. the 10th was all heart as he refused to quit. but he was a 36 yr old against a 28 yr old in his prime.Comment -
#131
Yeah, because some low-limit prop that only ONE offshore book offered clearly shows that Vegas was paid off by them to fix a fight.

#133All in all, hard to call match one a draw and not this. This one seemed like more of a draw than the first. Maybe boxing wants knockouts now that Mayweather is useless??Comment -
-
#135that is the real error in all of this. the first fight was not a draw. triple g won. so it's like he lost twice and thats why he left the ring the way he did.Comment -
#136I wouldn’t want to talk to kellerman either lolComment -
#137Go listen to teddyAtlas. He will teach u how boxing works.Comment -
