Advice on getting a new book (5dimes or Pinny ?)

5 Dimes is good for $10 and $20 bets, you will get paid

Pinny is good for $1 to $50,000 and safest book in the world and best book.

I'm a bit of small timer myself and a member of both. I initially joined Penny, then more recently 5dimes. I like them both so far, I think they both have their strengths. And both came highly recommended to me.

That said, I bet on hockey mostly, because this is what I know. I find Penny has the best lines. But 5dimes has some betting options for hockey that Penny doesn't. And I find some of these betting options useful. So I keep an account with both for this reason.

So I guess I'm trying to say, I'd recommend both at this point. But it really depends on what your betting needs are. Yours may different than mine, I don't know.

Lastly, if I had to rate them I would rate Penny first. Because Penny's lines are the best. But as I said, I like 5dimes too because they offer some betting options Penny does not.

PS: 5dimes gives more of a bonus, they give you a 20 or 50 pct free play, depending on your deposit option. But personally I'm not all that interested in bonuses. The main reason being the 5x rollerover and 30 day rules that apply to them.

I would tend to agree with with all the comments about both these books mentioned above. However, The thing that nobody mentioned above was the fact that 5Dimes are better suited for phone bets and Pinnacle isn't.

Can't go wrong with either one.

I feel that 5Dimes is a must if you bet alot of hockey. They have tons of alternative lines. You can find some lines with TONS of value.

You might want to try out Bet Jamaica also. They have a very nice sign up bonus there also.

You will not have a problem with any of those 3 books.

Thanks for the info, phone bets not a real issue for me, so it doesnt matter either way. I honestly will probably wind up doing both eventually, but for right now really just looking to do one.

I actually just did BetJam and am trying them out on their $100 for a $100 bonus offer. Cant beat the offer and first experiences are very good there. I was looking at VIP too, but it really has the same kind of vibe as Bodog to me (and thats not all good)..with Bodog you'll never worry about getting paid, but they never seem to have the lines you want early, and their lines are usally not the best.

Is VIP worth a look, or should I just move over to 5Dimes ? In the end I really think I want to wind up with 3 books, and Pinnacle will be among them..but with the holiday/end of year bonus offers floating around, its hard to pass up the free funds others are offering.

Dont wait to join Pinny just coz of the bonus imo, you lose more than you gain (a small player needs months until he has 5k, if he ever has)
