#1Jaguars Team Falling Apart?Tags: None -

#3The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost three straight games and are now reportedly fighting with each other.
According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, defensive end Calais Campbell was restraining fellow defensive end Yannick Ngakoue in the locker room following Sunday's 20-7 loss to the Houston Texans. Popper noted there was "lots of yelling coming from the room," and Ngakoue "threw off Campbell" after the interaction.
The 2018 version of the Jaguars has been a shell of the team that finished 10-6 last year and went to the AFC Championship Game. Had linebacker Myles Jack not been questionably marked down to wipe away a potential defensive touchdown in that AFC Championship Game loss, Jacksonville could have been in the Super Bowl.
It is now languishing at 3-4 with heated situations in the locker room.
Campbell, Ngakoue and the rest of the once-vaunted defense allowed a combined 70 points in losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys prior to Sunday's showing, while the offense fell apart against the Texans. Quarterback Blake Bortles was even benched in favor of Cody Kessler, which isn't an encouraging sign for the supposed franchise quarterback.
When he wasn't busy holding back teammates, Campbell said "I still believe in Blake," per Popper.
The silver lining for the Jaguars is the fact they are in the AFC South and just one game behind the Texans for first place. If that belief turns into better play, they can once again win the wide-open division instead of having issues in the locker room after games.Comment -
#4bortles is a loser. until they get rid of him same old storyComment -
#5They need to trade for Fitzpatrick. He would jump start the offense.Comment -

Although watch them beat Philadelphia next week in LondonComment -
#11Losing Fournette for basically the whole season will shed light in any qb. No running game is a recipe for losing. Too bad actually since they could be far from where they are.Comment -

#18This is what happens when you have guys like Jalen Ramsey on your team.Comment -
#19Ok - give every team in the NFL a hypothetical 14 point deficit in the first quarter and running game only makes yards on rpo’s. Stand in the pocket qb’s have to have the right offense to survive. 123 pop - 123 pop to timing patterns. So, I feel the Defense and OC need to step up and adapt, also.Comment -
#20Jax is a mess, but my NFL dumpster fire team to fade is Oakland!
Bye weeks don't seem to help NFL teams like you would think they would? Carr has regressed and the players are still upset they gave away the best player on the team in Mack. They've already quit at some point in most of their games. Beast mode is frustrated too, but they can't run the ball when the defense (and Carr) puts them in a big hole.
Indy on the other hand has Luck with 15 TD passes in their last 4 games and alot of optimism about their future. This draft has produced 2 starting O-lineman that are grading out well and the NFLs leading tackler in Darius Leonard. RB Marlon Mack is back from injury and had 126 rushing & 2 TDs yesterday. TY Hilton came back and had 2 TDs as well. LT Anthony Castanzo is back from injury. 2 teams heading in different directions

#23Jaguars have had trade discussions with other teams regarding RB Leonard Fournette, league sources tell ESPN. Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020. It's a situation that bears watching as this week's draft approaches.Comment -
#24Jaguars already scheduled to have 12 picks in this draft, tied with the Patriots and Vikings for second most in league behind Miami’s 14.
And this is before any potential trades for RB Leonard Fournette and DE Yannick Ngakoue.Comment -
#25They are tanking for Trevor... Lawrence.Comment -
#26Jags may win 6 games this year.Comment -
#28Every team falling apart now in every sport.. All athletes at home and not working out.. It's done.. Even when sports come back we will see a bunch of out of game shape athletes gassing after every play..
That should be entertainment though.. Expect every coach to call many timeouts early on to give players a rest when play resumes if it ever does..
HOW YOU BET ON THAT IDK?? Capping sports will get interesting.. Adventure!!!Comment -
#29Not only that but there will be the no-crowd factor; put that all together and it can't be handicapped reliably.Comment -
#30Home field advantage will be minimal.Comment -
#31So which team(s) need a downhill, between-the-tackles runner who can make real contributions in the passing game, and who would set aside any pain-in-the-ass tendencies based on the team and coach he plays for, and the teammates he plays with?
This one is simple: The Chiefs.
Although Damien Williams had a solid season in Kansas City, the Chiefs lack the kind of threat at running back that would give their offense true balance. Really, given the presence of Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Sammy Watkins, the Chiefs should have more than 1,569 rushing yards as a team, and a leading rusher with more than 498. (Mahomes had 218.)Comment
