Back when I was a kid I remember my mom asking me to make her pot pie for when she got home from work. So I take out of box then read instructions, instructions say “remove from package then place in oven”, so I took out that little pan deal it supposed to cook it. When Mom got home and looked in oven her pot pie had feel thru crust and all over bottom of oven. Lol .

Still can’t fathom why it would say remove from package meaning the box it came in?!?? of course you take out of damn box!! Seemed reasonable to me they meant take out of that pan deal thing it comes in. Turns out that a bad idea. Obviously didn’t know much bout cooking yet!

Lol those were good back in the day. Now my wife makes a pie crust fills it with goodness then does that cris cross shit with the pieces of crust. Then about 15 mins before it comes out she butters the top.. damn its bomb.
Serve with some fresh ice tea and a salad with cracked pepper
