Drew Brees Is A Class Act
He sends individualized commemorative footballs to every receiver and lineman that was a part of his passing record.

He truly realizes what a team effort it is to get so many yards.

Drew Brees gifts footballs in honor of passing record

    That's a lot of football's.

Did he hire someone just to get all the names and stats for him?

With the assistance of general manager Mickey Loomis, executive director of football communications Doug Miller and members of the Saints' PR staff, Brees came up with a list of 174 names that played a role in the record over his 18-year career.
The compilation proved a task, as Brees said a lot of effort was spent tracking down each individual and confirming mailing addresses.
With the mission accomplished, a total of 15 current receivers, 84 former ones, seven current offensive linemen, 49 former blockers, 11 coaches and eight contributors, including Saints owner Gayle Benson, will receive a customized football with their name and contributions in time for the holidays. Also included with the football is a letter personally signed by Brees thanking each individual for their assistance.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees won more than $6 million in a San Diego court Friday over a lawsuit that claimed he had been sold overpriced diamonds from a jeweler more than a decade ago.

Brees reportedly bought the artificially inflated-price diamonds from La Jolla jeweler Vihad Moradi for $15 million early in his career when he was playing for the San Diego Chargers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. The diamonds were subsequently assessed to be worth millions of dollars less than Moradi’s valuation.

“It was our position that Mr. Moradi breached his fiduciary duty, and that’s essentially what the jury said,” Brees attorney Andrew Kim said. “They saw Mr. Moradi for exactly what he is: a grifter and a confidence man.”

Moradi has denied the allegations and testified that the diamonds have appreciated in the last decade.

Brees admitted in his testimony that Moradi had not misrepresented the characteristics of the diamonds, but said the jeweler had marked up the price when he had told Brees he would sell the jewels to him wholesale, making Brees’ investment not as lucrative as he was led to believe, the Union-Tribune reported.

                  Hate that fukkin guy! Lol.

He should send something to the shitbag rules committee for making his career possible. While he at it send them to all the refs that extended drives by throwing bs touching the qb penalties on every 3rd and long he failed on!!

Kinda ironic the saints belly aching over a bad call in nfc championship game seeing how most their success was the product of terrible officiating!!!

He didn’t look like the same guy second half of last season. Teams are gonna start jumping all over the short stuff and forcing him to beat them deep until he proves he still can.

He can beat them deep when he has time. I believe he injured himself in the Atlanta game going for a tackle off an INT. His stats went down after that play. The offensive line was also injured in the second half of the season which didn't help things. He might be on the decline or he might not. We will see this year because he also doesn't have to rely on only Michael Thomas this year. Our receivers outside MT were inconsistent big time. Jared Cook, a healthy Ginn, and a few others might help his passing game this year.

I don't believe the NFL wants the Saints to win another super bowl so I'm not counting on them getting there. The last 2 years might be too big to overcome. Good luck this year.

Brees has better career stats than Brady. Brady has a trash division and gets all the calls (tuck rule, faux roughing the passer). Meanwhile Brees gets shafted by his garbage defenses and officiation.

He used to be able to make them pay deep, not sure that the case any longer? Certainly wasn’t at end of last year. Maybe he bounces back but once you start seeing those signs from a past aging qb it rare they get it back. My guess is they will prob be explosive early but once wear and tear of the season starts taking its toll they slow down again.

Either way the nfc is so stacked w quality teams it tough for everyone. Personally think the way they have lost in playoffs last 2 years gotta be deflating and so many young qb on the rise while Brees nearing the end. South known for flipping on its head from year to year too. Falcons defense will be healthy this year.

Brady is the superior qb to Brees.

Brees is a stat padder who shits himself in big games. Only reason NO won a Sb was they played a qb who shitted himself worse than Brees in big games in Peyton.

Why not the defense aknowledged? If it wasn't for the defense to stop the other team and giving him the ball to pass he wouldn't be making the record.
