International Angelman Day: SBR Poker Charity Tournament 2019

Event date: Saturday, February 16 @ 8:30PM ET

How to Take Part

1. To reserve a seat, log into the SBR Poker client and buy-in to the event with 200 points.
2. For each buy-in, SBR will donate $20 to cureangelman.org.
3. A list of donors as well as an invoice of the payment will be posted once the event concludes. All users will be given custom badges to reflect their generosity at the conclusion of the event.
   

Angelman syndrome (AS) is a rare disorder which presently has no cure. Symptoms include developmental delays, no or minimal use of words, seizures, balance disorder and other serious conditions.

Last year we had another great turnout, with your enthusiasm and generosity we know we can get even more in 2019. Please tell your friends, other forum members and anyone who wants to participate in the event. We had many people last year sign up simply to donate money.

This is the fifth year SBR has run this tournament. We here have members of the SBR forum community that have been directly affected by this syndrome so please reach out and help this cause. It is our hope that we can raise awareness and drive fundraising to support the research and an eventual cure for Angelman.

u should sign up even if u cant play and get blinded out, u will get a badge its no big deal the blinding out after the first hand it will skip u right away no delay, everybody is used to it get lots in dailys

I won't be able to play as I will be out of town, not near a computer at this time.

That said, I do want to try to help so if anyone is able to participate but doesn't have the points, I might be willing to loan you 200 points interest free. Not going to promise to do this for anyone (while I do want to help, being stiffed is another matter!). So if I don't know you/you don't have any history here, probably not. But most others probably I can. After all if you stiff someone over 200 points, especially when they loan you the points for such a good cause, well knowing what type of character you are for that amount of points could be worth it!

So anyone in that boat feel free to let me know.
