Argument can be made both ways however percentages can sway the opinion

Final scoring plays were a 3 pointer by Julius randle followed by 2 free throws from Steph Curry. Game was already decided

Curry is a 93% career free throw shooter, is Julius randle half of that from beyond the arc? Is he even a third of that?

More likely that 60% of the time randle misses the garbage time 3 and gsw covers rather than Curry missing a free throw for a norl cover

GS should have covered and won by 8 points.. That game ending 3 by Randle missed so bad it banked in.. Sometimes that's the way the ball bounces..

He still probably shoots better then green that hit back to back threes earlier in the quarter lol.. I ddint bet this game but you are correct.. could have gone either way.. same with nets.. dinv miss one of those 3 in regulations and they dont cover most likely... none of them was wide open..

Are books getting slaughtered on NbA overs?

I know they had adjusted for a period and weren’t getting killed but this last week has been ridiculous. I make a point to check every morning the totals from night before. Every night it’s 6-2 7-1 overs.

3 points shooting league now.. Overs are up. Teams forgot how to play defense also. Run, gun and shoot. Fast pace with most teams these days.. Makes for high scoring games.

Its not about percentages, basektball is a momentum sports, Golden State had all the momentum in this game after Curry got hot in the late 3rd quarter, at that point every experienced NBA bettor knew Golden State had a better than 50% chance to cover.
