If it were my vote I'd pick this movie to win the OSCARS.. It's got a chance just because it's lady Gaga and she exposes herself in this movie. My money will still be on Black Panther though.

This movie has a taste of degen gambler burn out keep it real raw story in it. Battling demons so to speak with fame. I know it's Lady Gaga and all but they play the movie rolls well, it's raw Country burn out drinking music too which I appreciate..

I liked it a lot...

i mean it's a remake of a remake for goodness sakes, i wanna see greenbook heard that was really good, i agree with you movies these days are not good anymore, it's all comic book stuff don't see the classic movie anymore that blows u away

Her music sucks and her crazy on stage outfits were always just to be outlandish and boost her image or cover her real looks and own insecurities.. Good marketing though obviously.. She is musically gifted and can play many instruments.. Reminds me of Phil Collins a bit, not so easy on the eyes but musically talented for sure.

Lady Gaga music blows though.. I can't name any hits of hers I like to date..

Why they casted him because he could sing. These are millions dollar productions. They will always find the perfect match / actor for the role.

As far as the movie goes - The problem I had with this movie is Alcohol, drug or gambling addiction isn't a disease it's a choice.. You value life enough you will go seek treatment, pray to God or just man up and stop it. A disease I think of - is cancer or something terminal that you have no control over.. I hate liberals that call addictions a disease because it's a choice and always was.. I know I battled them myself..

When you have to much time and no purpose in life or just feel you've been wronged by family or loved ones you look to ease the pain with drugs, gambling or alcohol. The easy out!!! It's a flaw in you!! Don't forget that people.. It's not a disease...

Should go to rehab and fight it, seek a higher power and fight it that way, or just really man up and value life because LIFE is a gift from God. You just abused it and are an addict and it's on you..

These movies make think about that.. I'm done just sharing what I know..

Remember when the polls showed Hillary would win the election easily? They were wrong because anyone who was actually gonna vote for Trump didn't want to debate it with some stranger on the phone so they kept it to themselves.

Same situation here. Nobody who votes can stand Spike Lee. He's toast and his movie is as well. Screenplay perhaps.

Roma is dreadfully boring, is in Spanish, and was shown on Netflix instead of in theaters. Critics loved it because they're the leftist of the left. Roma will not win. Though Cuaron, the director, will win.

A Star is Born will only win for best song.

Green Book will win Best Picture. Why? Because it was the best picture. The only reason anyone would think otherwise is because they haven't seen it and also because of the terrible smear campaign against it.......paid for by Roma and Spike Lee's movie.

The Academy voters have seen Green Book and have no interest in debating its manufactured scandals with SJW's.

For the record, Black Panther was also a terrific movie this year but no SuperHero movie is ready to win an Oscar.

You cannot pay any attention to movie critics and those who voted.

They clearly have a twisted way of thinking compared to the rest of us.

I figured this out years ago when my nephew and I watched Hugo in the theaters and it was so bad, that it was the closest I've ever been to walking out.

And then it's nominated and wins some awards.

The fact Roma was shown on Netflix is the best point here. Academy is bias as hell which also brings up another point. The academy does care about optics which is the sole reason moonlight won.
