Smart man if so. Very few athletes at that age show that kind of saving discipline.. It's usually all about the flash and bling bling. Fancy sports cars and big houses.

Maybe he won't need to come back then because of financial reasons some day unless he invests in garbage and loses most of it that way..

Those fat NFL checks will no longer be coming in.. It's a HUGE financial adjustment for these Athletes.. At 29 Gronk is spending and not saving if I had to guess..

I give it 3 years tops.. Gronk will be back.

Jason Witten came back at what 37 years old now ..http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...urn-to-cowboys

It's always about the money -

The Cowboys enticed Witten with a financial incentive. Witten will receive up to $5 million to come out of retirement, a source told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Witten's deal has a base value of $3.5 million, Rapoport adds.
Jibby use Google for a change. You sound very ignorant.

Gronk has not touched his NFL paychecks yet. He has been living off the endorsements. Even with a 15% ROR annually those paychecks could be in the 100's of millions now. He is set for life. That's why he retired young. Because he was saving every penny and investing it.

What ever.. I don't pay much attention to the spending habits of pro athletes as most go broke.. I assumed, forgive me.. Good for Gronk. Next time I will google it... Relax Pavy..

Sal Paolantonio and ESPN Patriots reporter Mike Reiss join SportsCenter from the 2019 NFL Annual Meeting in Arizona to react to TE Rob Gronkowski announcing his retirement from the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Reiss calls the news “a shock.” They also discuss owner Robert Kraft appearing at the meetings, but not planning to speak with the media.

Adam Schefter says the injuries took a toll on New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski leading to his decision to retire after nine seasons. He also outlines what could be next for Gronk in his post-football life.

Sal Paolantonio and Field Yates react to the news of Rob Gronkowski's retirement. Yates says that the New England Patriots are surprised that Gronk is hanging up his cleats. The pair also discuss Gronkowski's relationship with Tom Brady and why he has a strong case to be a first ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer.

Stephen A. Smith recognizes the talent that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has and suggests he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer, but does not consider him the greatest TE of all time as he gives the edge to Tony Gonzalez. Max Kellerman and Victor Cruz both disagree with Stephen A. and say that his dominance on the field makes him the best.
