I think he'll be back.

Maybe after a year or two, he'll get the itch again. Maybe even hop on the team for a playoff run? Come out of retirement, play 3 games, win a superbowl, retire again? Can easily imagine any of these scenarios. I think Gronk feels like his body is just finished. But once that beast heals, he's gonna get bored.

I heard some former patriot (forget who) say he prob retire then return in later part of this season so probably a possibility.
