Dana said it today, Connor is stuck on the idea he deserves UFC shares. He won't get that but we will find something that makes him happy.
The fact is, the UFC needs Connor, but not enough to give him shares.
Tony Ferguson apparently is going crazy with schizophrenia, very sad stuff. TJ and Cody Garbrant both buried... Khabib, Holloway only ones to compete for the title...
Connor is a gigantic draw whoever he fights...

Made his millions and will still make more and good on him for that. I really enjoyed his style inside the cage he was lethal, and outside of that the build up to the Aldo and Floyd fights were brilliant entertainment. Tried it on Khabib but it didn't work in the cage (got them both suspended after though!). So going up another gear doesn't make sense to me? $$$$$ obviously but he's going to walk into that pay day a disliked man and still get his arse kicked, very, very badly. Doesn't seem is style but we'll see.
That last tirade on twitter went too far imo. Khabib will kick his arse for free so he better hope he doesn't bump into him, that man is born to fight.Comment -

he was already on meds Jibby, im pretty sure he got off them after tearing his knee for the khabib fight and it started going downhill quick... apparently hes back on them and getting help but it seems like hes trying to come back far too quick and fight... gotta be careful with these kinds of things

Look at that first gif. Conor CLEARLY on the take in plain sight. We are talking about a professional fighter here regardless of what you think of him. 99.99999999% of SBR never even been in a fight that drew blood so do not try and tell me he is not on the take right there. That Russian guy only winds up from his nutsack and almost windmills around so he can see the shit coming 2 miles away. only reason he landed the punch is because Mcgregor was ready to sprawl you can tell by him looking down and getting ready to get his arms down, hence the overhand landed ... Khabib has amateur striking but his takedowns open up bigger shots
Mcgregor also didnt look like himself in the standup tbh, stopping the first khabib takedown is alright but he chain wrestles so well people get tired and wilt under the pressure, just a terrible stylistic matchup.... mark my words if Khabib fights a striker like Holloway hell do the same thing
his hardest fight was against a guy like Gleison Tibau where he could barely do anything , find a good wrestler with some striking like Justin Gaethje would love to see how that goes, styles make fightsComment -
Good post. I think people have this massive over reaction to how good Khabib really is personally. Don't get me wrong imo he has the best wrestling in the game his strength/technique to get take downs is incredible. But he hasn't fought much until Connor? RDA been exposed by the top guys, Barboza is good but got blown to bits by Gaethje and Al fought him on short notice and while never looked like winning Khabib didn't put him away.
The division is stacked there's 3 or 4 that could beat him, maybe 1 or 2 that are straight up better.Comment -
