Whoa that's an eye opener, you both give San Jose credit
Have you been seeing San Jose play lately? They should be the best version of the Sharks we've seen for awhile, but I think they do nothing. Martin Jones and Aaron Dell are at the forefront of their issues.

Haven't watched a sharks game since the penguins went there
Well I meant game results, Sharks have zero momentum heading into Round 1
I do think your Toronto line is more accurate, LB, looks about right
I like Toronto to win that. Babcock is in trouble if they don't. On top of that there seems to be too much public conviction that Boston will win for sure. Boston is going to get clowned. Don't be surprised if it ends quick.

I've been thinking exactly the same on that series
But don't you think Vegas has the popular perception as well?

Just because there is popular perception, does not mean the opposite will happen. I would be shocked in Boston lost first round. Boston much better defensively. 3-1 series this year in favor of Bruins. There are better options to take at +150. I would not be surprised if Boston is bought up to -200.
Hypothetical question, what would the line be if Vegas had the "home advantage"?
-115 San jose
-105 Vegas
Maybe, not sure. I do know that Vegas always juices Golden Knights lines extra hard since obv they receive the largest bets so expect vegas sportsbook lines to always be 10 cents worse than pinny or online.
OK but you gave -140 for San Jose opening at home, the other guys went higher
Makes no sense to me
Home advantage is great but over 7 games, I don't think it adds more than 25-35 cents for a series. Def could be wrong, would be curious to hear what LT says (sadly he doesn't often venture into these threads).

Cbj is extremely dangerous. They are stacked. They have a great goalie. This is hockey my friend not NBA. Anything can happen and will.
Actually this is great opportunity for us lakerboy. Would you be interested in a 500 pt h2h contest for NHL? Each round, we wager risk / to win 1 unit, on each series. Person at the end up the most points or down the least, wins.
I've been wanting to go h2h with someone in a contest. If anyone (except Yisman or LT) wants to go h2h, I have 500 points ready. I have 350 in freeplay currently so could try and get 1000 pts ready too.
In the West, we still need to see how things shake out with Dallas and Colorado but I see Dallas being the upset special in the West. They dominated Calgary and held their own vs Nashville. Decent 7 or 8 seat value.
