    I don't understand MLB's blackout restrictions.
I live near Vegas. MLB says my regional teams are Arizona, San Fran, and Oakland. I'm not a fan of any of those, but I like baseball, so I would turn on any game they're broadcasting. I have Directv, so I get all the regional networks.

Today, Oakland is playing a morning game. It is not on the A's normal tv channel - it's on the MLB Network, but they've blacked it out. Why? What is the point of not letting me watch the damn game?

Do they think by showing me the game, they're hurting ticket sales? Like I'm gonna drive 550 miles to go to the game.

Just curious, Dodgers and Angels not part of that regional restricted list for you?

They don't want people in/near Vegas seeing certain things. Period.

Vegas, Iowa, and Hawaii get screwed on the blackout policy. The RSN you get is the team that is supposed to be blacked out.

Yeah I know some people in Des Moines can't watch like 6 teams

                  Cubs
                  Sox
                  Brewers
                  Royals
                  Twins
                  Cardinals

that could be like 40% of the games on certain days

I hate it. I'm a Yankee fan and often watch the games on my phone at work and its fine when they are on the YES network as its on the fox sports app.

But once a week they play on a local channel that doesn't have an app. Yet it get blocked out on MLB.tv

How many naps do you take if you watch 5 baseball games every day? Asking for a friend.

Theres an awesome programe you can download to see most of the feeds a certain russian book has. I haven't found a game not shown on this program. Maybe 5th league soccer or something like that isn't available lol... I thought it was shady at first but it hasn't done anything to my comp or phone

Braves and Reds are the blackout games in Nashville. Luckily they are both on Fox networks, and I can watch them on the Fox Go app.

My favorite is having the mlb extra innings package to watch Mets games yet the Mets broadcast is never available. I have to watch the games on the opposing teams network. The dumbest shit ever. Every other game on the board have both broadcasts damn near every night except the one team I am a fan of. Can't make it up.

I've downloaded the Reddit app for about a month now, and it hasn't given me any problems

I literally watch sports whenever I'm on the road to wherever I have to go.

Lol try being from Iowa. No team within 3 hours where I live (5 hours in some places) yet Royals, Cards, Cubs, White Sox, Brewers and Twins all blacked out.

its supposed to protect the regional sports networks who pay big $ for the rights
the nats and o's blacked out here, 6 hrs away and neither have ever been broadcast locally
its a great plan if your objective is to kill baseball

I believe there are about six teams that are blacked out in Vegas; I use vipbox on the few occasions that I need it.
