When did this word become such a crushing conundrum that riddled minds across the internet, regardless of age?
Grown fukking men and women just constantly confusing "lose" and "loose" like it's an optical illusion they can never quite grasp. In every corner of cyberspace, from SBR's venerated forums, to Reddit, to the comment sections on Facebook or YouTube... people butchering a single syllable word to form an altogether different word. The current craze is bigger than Tickle-Me-Elmo at it's height.
WTF happened?
Is it the 5G technology? Is it the chemtrails? Is it GMO's in our food or fluoride in our water supply?
Employers should just start checking candidates for the ability to spell "lose" as the very first step of the hiring process to weed out the dumbbells straight away. If they flop on that basic literacy test, you can show them the door before the ink even dries.
