#46Fuk Lowry and the nudge...
I would have gone Ron Behagan on that flopper.
Lowry would be Luke Witte.
***Luke Witte is a retired American college and professional basketball player who is now a church minister. He played at the collegiate level for Ohio State University and professionally ... While on the floor, he was also kicked and stomped by Minnesota player Ron Behagen, knocking him unconscious ...Comment -

Man who pushed Raptors' Kyle Lowry in Game 3 is part owner of Warriors
Jeff Zillgitt 2 hrs ago
OAKLAND – The fan involved in the Kyle Lowry incident during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday has been identified as Golden State Warriors minority owner Mark Stevens, a person with knowledge of the incident told USA TODAY Sports. The person requested anonymity because the league is investigating the situation.
© Provided by USA Today Sports Media Group LLCThe incident happened in the fourth quarter when Lowry dove into the stands to save the basketball from going out of bounds and Stevens gave Lowry a shove. Lowry immediately became upset and began mimicking a shoving motion.
Stevens was ejected from the arena and the Warriors on Thursday said he will not be in attendance for any of the remaining Finals games and that review of the matter is ongoing.
"Mr. Stevens' behavior last night did not reflect the high standards that we hope to exemplify as an organization," the team said in a statement. "We’re extremely disappointed in his actions, and along with Mr. Stevens, offer our sincere apology to Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptor organization for this unfortunate misconduct. There is no place for such interaction between fans – or anyone – and players at an NBA game."

#54The guy in the blue shirt they walked off is a minority owner in the Warriors team, that's what I read this morning.
As posted above this post.

#59Lifetime ban is crazy, but the NBA is sensitive about this stuff now days.
There has been a big change since Stern left. He had authority and didn't give two shits about the players; he just wanted to make money. Silver on the other hand is being a pussy and letting the players walk all over him.Comment -

#61multiple fan incidents this year. they are getting out of hand. its a heated intense game and atmosphere and you as some old guy decide you can push a player in that game? someone gets punched in the face eventually if silver doesn't put a stop to it. nba gives fans unprecedented access and there is an expected maturity from said fans with that.
As for the old guy: He's and idiot. There was no need to push Lowry. I can't even think of the reason why he did that, and the fact that he is in some small way connected to the Warriors makes the NBA's choice to ban him fine.Comment -

#63Personally, I think the NBA players, this season especially, have let the fans get to them. Fans are going to be fans, and when the venues decided to make a lot of $$$ serving, and most times, over serving alcohol, you're going to get some fans that say dumb shit. Now I'm just talking about the players complaining about fans saying stuff they don't like. The players need to have a thicker skin. That has changed A LOT recently.

#64Lowry flopped on the push? Typical.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -
#65That spoiled entitled thief rich pig should have gotten bitchslapped by every Toronto player with no penalty to the players
That's what happens when you are a corksucker who gets rich screwing people over and then you think that wealth entitles you to treat people however you want
I only wish there was a time machine so he could have done that to Ron Artest or Jermaine O Neal when they were on the Pacers
They would have given him exactly what he neededComment -

He is a "venture capitalist", which is the legal term for a scumbag who profits off other people's work while bleeding them dry in the process
He thinks he won't get his teeth knocked down his throat because he is so fukkin special
Like I said, he needs to meet someone on the long list of former NBA players who would beat the fukk out of him if he layed a fingernail on themComment -
#68Come on. That shove was as harmless as Kareem Hunt's leg push to his girl. People are so upset over nothing. Did the guy act like an ass? Absolutely, but eject him out of the game and move the fukk on. He learned his lesson and is most likely embarrassed today. To blow this shit up more with huge fines and bans is fukkking overkill. Now, if he smacked Lowry or pulled his pants down, then maybe a harsher sentence but that was a simple nudge caused by his team getting their ass kicked and his feelings were hurt.
Whatever happened to "the punishment fits the crime". We now try and crucify any and everyone that makes a mistake. Forgive and move on.Comment -
#69They fined the guy who is the minority owner $500,000 and banned him from the arena for a year. Surprised they acted that fast.
