Bol Bol draft position

He's too slow, he's a good shooter and he's tall but he's not fast enough to guard smaller quicker players and that's where the league is right now. 10 Years ago he would have been a top 5 pick but now I wouldn't be surprised to see him fall out of the top 18, if he has to switch pick and rolls he'll get destroyed, I'd lean over.

I think you're right and that was the case a few years ago but with the change in the game probably not so much anymore

Even at his best he's going to be a liability on defense.

By the time I went to bet on the draft, the main guys were off the board (yes, it was almost last-minute) and Bol's over had gone to -121.

Took a baby bet on his over and Jerome's over 23.5 -110.

If I had any idea Bol would fall so hard, I'd have made one of my crazy wagers. Damn.

“We thought we were going to get a guy that was greatly undervalued as the night progressed,” Connelly said. “Who knows where we’ll be picking in the future, but when you get a guy with the tools like Bol Bol, it’s hard not to be aggressive. And it’s hard not to be excited.”

“My foot is 100 percent healed,” Bol said. “I just recently started getting back on the court like a month ago, and I’ve slowly just been doing workouts.”

this...even if he only gets 4 minutes a game off the bench I'd still be shocked if he made it an entire season without injury

the kid can already shoots lights out. if he can evolve defensively and pose a threat in the paint and start blocking 2-3-4 shots a game then he'll be in a class of his own. he shouldn't have slipped past the lottery just based on pure potential. to snatch him in the 2nd rd knowing that he can already knock down an open shot makes him a steal as a project player. and a fun project at that. fans will love him
