I agree, Joker should be odds on favourite here.

With that said, I think Thiem +2500 is worth a shot.

Thiem is definately value and can beat anyone on his day on this particular surface but he can also lose in R1 to some young hot kid too.

The player I will likely pay attention to is Felix, I think his odds are tasty and I seems to like the US swing(s). I would look into books that offer odds for "To make the Final" and "To win their Quarter" which basically means to make the SF for guys like Felix depending on draws. Khachanov has been sneaky good, as well as HCs and can do damage in the draw too.

I do think Kyrgios can get to a SF here. He typically behaves himself a bit better at Slams, and I think the ATP finally gave him a fine that will get his attention. If you watched him in DC, he beat some really good players, all of whom were playing really well, and did so pretty convincingly. Nishioka played a really good match (and backed it up in Cincy), Tsitsipas played reasonably well, and Med is the fourth best player on tour right now. Conditions at the US Open will be pretty similar to that tournament.

Roger is crashing? He played one subpar match after a month layoff, his second match on the surface in five months. Besides Rublev, he has only lost to Djoker, Nadal, Tsitsipas, and Thiem this year. If that's crashing, I don't know what thriving is.

Hard to take a chance on anyone besides Joker and Nadal on the Men's side. A lot of value on the Women's side, in my opinion. I like Pliskova, Kvitova, Kenin and Bencic from a value standpoint. Keys has done really well the past two years in New York with F and SF appearances and is coming off a big tournament win (although semi-spoonfed).

I'll purchase some value plays but I'll give my predictions for both sides once I see the draw.
