#2The yardage numbers are legit
I say yes
Leads me back to my Kirk Cousins argument. If Cousins retires w 65,000 yards and is top 8 all time is that HOF? Obviously yes.
Curtis Martin up there too...I say he HOF tooComment -
#3Just wanna say he was rank ahead of Clinton Portis and willies mcgahee at the (U)before the injuryComment -
#4well to speak on him from his short days as a Colt he did all he could grinding out yards with a line that couldn't open up any sort of holes 98% of the time
erased most of the memories of richardson missing the hole and running into 4 guysComment -
#5No, this isn't the NBAComment -
#6Why notComment -

#8Not a hall of famer. Gore is a compiler. Which may still get him in the Hall of Fame in about 10+ yearsComment -
#9His best days with the 49ers on a Shitty team, until jimmy start coaching themComment -
#10of course he is. the numbers are clearly there , #4 rushing of all time, 5 time pro bowler , guys behind him HOFers
just because he didn't get as much attention as the others doesn't make him Not a HOFerComment -

It insulting to gore to mention cousins in same kinda way.
Cousins is and always will be a obvious NO!!! Unless he starts winning super bowls he has no damn shot and it is degrading to every HOF player to continue saying otherwise. He doesn’t even belong in the hall of very good.Comment -
#12If iron mike say he’s a HOF!!! Then he is !! He’s legitComment -

#15I haven’t respond 2 that kid comments in years, cousin is no where near HOF, he can not elevate his team like most of the elite QB ( cousin isn’t a bad QB he’s a little bit above average ) iMOComment -

#18Little above average is fair, not sure when we started putting qb’s in the hof who were never even considered top 10 when they were playing??? LolComment -
#19I've asked this question among many of my friends of whom many are Niner fans like me and of course most of them say yes he belongs in the HOF. I think he does because he has lasted longer than most running backs in the NFL and was productive for most of those years often times on teams that weren't very good. He deserves it simply for that so it wouldn't surprise me if he makes it in not too long after he's done playing.Comment -
#20Absolutely. Longevity and yards.Comment -
#21YesComment -
#22He could not shine Fred Taylor or Ricky Watters' shoes.Comment -
#23No. He played for bad teams and didn't win anything.Comment -
#24Why in the hell would that be a knock against him? QBs are only position your team success is tied to your personal achievements. The fact he did so well surrounded by garbage should be a feather in his cap not a knock against.Comment -
#25I think anyone that follow frank gore since his college days, would understand he’s a HOF backComment -
#26No.Comment -

#31Longevity does not make a HOFerComment -
#32He was one of the more durable backs in recent times.Comment -

#34Just his durability should get him in the hallComment -
