I could not agree more, yet there are so many of these fools out there. Broke, in jail, in hospitals, or dead. A lot of this has to do with colleges taking people because they are athletes, no matter how stupid they are.

Yup, that's what I did when I worked my asss off in my 20's and saved up my money. I bought bank owned run down vacant foreclosed property for cheap. You don't even have to be professional athlete to do that and you can get set up for life.

One of my commercial properties today is paid off and I just sit back, do nothing and get rent checks on the 1st of every month. It's a beautiful thing. Don't even have to work..

Commercial property investing is really hands off!!.

.. There's no management. I don't even drive by my commercial leased property or fix anything, the tenant pays for everything including up keep and repairs. Insurance to. I could go a year without driving by my property or talking to my commercial tenant I kid you not. I just look for the check to come in the mail on the 1st every month. If it comes we are good.. If it doesn't my tenant gets a call from me. That's it.

Every pro athlete should buy a commercial property in a good area. No excuse not to for the money they bring in. They would never be broke again!!!
