I passed half a dozen gas stations while I was out earlier this afternoon. Three were out of gas; one other had a line of about 15 cars waiting to get on the property. Evacuation in Florida is a nightmare; who wants to get on the interstate and go 2 mph?Comment -

For anyone that thinks its funny, or a drunkin' party, the last thing you want to be in a life or home-threatening situation is loaded. One needs to have the correct train of thought. Unless, of course, u just don"t give a chit about anything. And, preparation is a total bitch in many respects. A week's worth of work in one day, times as many days warning that u have, or care to have. If it comes your way. u r prepared, if it doesn't, one has to un-do all that was done. Clean-up is weeks long, even if it doesn't come close. They are saying now it may not even hit Florida and stay out in the ocean. Like the hurricane has a steering wheel and decides to turn to the right at will. These guys don't know shit. The hurricane will go wherever it wants to go. Not where the computer model says. It's like LT Profits baseball model. I remember on Wednesday one of the talking heads on the Weather Channel said "I wouldn't say impossible but this storm has a next to zero chance of becoming a Category 1. (When Dorian was still a tropical storm)

I called it first last night that the hurricane will shift north and not hit Florida. And I'm not a meterorologist. Stay tuned here if you want to know where the hurricane will hit. Gamblers know more than weathermen. We know how to pick winners.Comment -

Looks like I am gonna get lucky this time and take a miss. Last time around, I was without power for 9 days, not much fun. JJGold, not much is gonna be a photo op here, unless you want pics of any and all moveable objects on the block placed inside, autos covered with makeshift covers, my electrical generator cords already strategically placed around the house, or houses boarded up to look like barns. Oh, and the signs of "Ice and gas for sale.............cheap", lol
