Many here don’t understand the concept of personal responsibility. They look for threads that confirm their thoughts then blame guys w the guts to post it when they lose. Been going on since the inception of the forums. I remember back in the day when I did season long threads and Mfers just want play after play, ungrateful when win and hate your guts when they lose and start a hater fam club. Pathetic., end of day, your money, your choice.

Being a good capper has nothing to do with fact I don’t manage my money and make bad mistakes. I’ve proven in many sports multiple times over the years I’m a solid capper. Love the guys who can’t do it claim it impossible.

Time to go back to drawing board bro. If you can self evaluate yourself you can always improve!! Know your strengths as well. Nfl impossible to beat year after year, sharpest lines in any sport. Baseball, college fb and hoops. I think present best chances to prosper long term as you can find lot of soft lines w all the college games. I am solid in the NFL and oddly the off conferences in College. I had two problems, I eliminated one of them which was drunk betting. I remember one Saturday, up 1500 bucks on $100 bets going into the late games (10pm est) got drunk and woke up with less than 10 bucks in the account. Apparently in a drunken stupor I thought it would be smart after losing half of the 1500 on west coast teams, to take the remaining money and bet it on Hawaii.

The other is being an action junkie. Will find 2 or 3 games I feel really good about bet on them...and then feel the urge to bet the board. I stopped betting for a few years and lived vicariously through my picker using that as a surrogate. It actually worked for me. However, last year I wanted to bet on the Playoffs. So I dumped $500 bucks did ok, and have been playing off that this year. Got down to 90 bucks at one point, brought that back up over a grand and am now back around $300. Still want to bet the board, especially in college. But have done better with it. I have had some tough losses/pushes, none being worse than Arizona-SF a few weeks ago. But I digress...

My point is I get what you are saying. If I were more disciplined and only bet the 2 or 3 games each week I felt good about I would be doing better.
