#3There was a vid going around yesterday of him hitting 5 three pointers in a row from half court in warmups.
Clearly making a point after everyone made such a big deal of LeBron hitting that one deep three the other night.Comment -

#10In his new book, The Victory Machine, Ethan Sherwood Strauss of The Athletic dropped a bomb. He claims in 2011, the Warriors attempted to trade Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to land Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets.
"It was far from the only time Curry was shopped, but in this instance, the deal was very close to completion," Strauss wrote. "Myers made the offer and Hornets GM Dell Demps was receptive."
Paul, had the deal come to fruition, would have joined forces with Monta Ellis and David Lee, two players who posted over 20 points per game throughout the 2011-12 season. At the very least, that trio could definitely have propelled the Warriors to a playoff berth for the next few seasons.
However, as Strauss notes, the fact that no Steph-Klay trade was successful may have been the best thing that happened to the Warriors in a long time.
"The Hornets weren't the only organization to narrowly lose out on the deal of a lifetime. According to one GM, 'The Warriors were blind lucky that they were unsuccessful in trading Steph and Klay together for the stars they offered them together for,' he said. 'There were many, many people they tried to get and failed.'"
The hypotheticals are practically endless. Where does Kevin Durant go after OKC if this trade goes through? Where does Anthony Davis end up? Where is Zion Williamson playing in his rookie season? It's an amazing rabbit hole to go down.Comment -

#20of course curry and klay. that didnt sound like the pt of this thread. if curry was that good he would have closed the door on toronto even without klay and kd. at least in game 6, where they were at home with 1 quarter of ball left and had a lead when klay went out. when toronto went to a box and 1, he fizzled out completely. run a box and 1 on lebron and see what happens.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -
