Its Saturday, I can't take it anymore! My friend and I are going to find an outside basketball hoop to shoot around. I already still have to go to work 5 days a week, me shooting around with my buddy wont end the world!

The leveling off of positive tests is due to the lack of sufficient testing. That's it. I agree that the social distancing is working, but it's not going to work in a hurry.

The only way we get back to work is with widespread testing -- both for covid and for antibodies. This is what the politicians need to be hammering home and making happen. Imagine if we had all these home tests dropped on every doorstep tonight. We'd know exactly who's immune and who's infected. We'd have this sucker under control for good in 2 weeks.

Not enough data. Weekend data is not reliable. Let's see how he numbers look at the end of this week for starters. Need 2 weeks of consistent significant decline in deaths and hospitalizations.

Then what? What happens if/when we loosen up the social distancing? Needs to be confirmed way down first. I don't see any way we can be there May 1. Shoot for May 18.

Go away? Not for a long time. Hope... sure... but if I had to predict... I think it's going to be a roller coaster ride for at least another year or so. Hopefully it won't be that bad in some places. If NFL starts on time this year I would be pretty surprised... it wouldn't surprise me at all if they cancelled the entire season in fact. We'll see. I am hoping most of my predictions about this are wrong... but I wouldn't bet against them.
