    Shake Shak returns ppp loan
    Very interesting

Says they don't need it.....a forgivable loan, if they don't fire anyone.

...reality? They're going to lay off everyone.

    Thoughts?

The money they returned cannot be redistributed to small businesses unless congress authorizes it. They blocked small businesses in need and didn't even use the money. Scum bags.

I was wondering about that as well.

I learned this was for their corporate headquarters too, not stores (which are franchised).

Also learned that 45% of the SBA loan money set aside here went to publically traded companies.

          Program is a complete disaster.

One of my family members tried to get a loan last week for a small business with 4 employees and was told they were out of money and needed to wait until the goverment authorized more funds. The wasted shake shack money could've covered a thousand businesses like hers. Thanks Shake Shack.

Disaster or exactly what corrupt politicians wanted it to be used for? They don’t care about small businesses, they care about people who keep them rich. But they continue to manipulate the public, this time with small stimulus payoffs so no one says anything when the bill is passed. Don’t worry though we will continue to fight back and forth with people who like or hate trump while the real problem, all the fat cats in the House and Senate continue to get away with not caring about the people that vote for them. Only people to thank is yourselves for these programs.

Drumpf fired the Inspector General in charge of overseeing stimulus. Not surprised at all with this corruption.

Big corporates have never given two sh*ts about their employees..

Unfortunately a lot of people are just now learning this the hard way..

I hope they can get it on the next go round foxx. Corruption or not these business are all that matter to me because I am one. Fortunately I’ve gotten help before money was out but still not in my account so until that happens I’m on edge. Nonetheless on edge for your friends and all others in same boat. Really shitty draw

Shake Shack Employees when they hear the company gets an unforgiveable loan to continue paying them VERSUS Shake Shack Employees when they find out their CEO returns the loan and says they don't need it

Thanks guys. Hopefully they get relief on the next round of funds. For now, at least they can take comfort in knowing the executives of many publicly traded companies will not be going hungry during these difficult times.
