#2better reduce the rakeComment -
#3Not only that
mandatory mask wearing
no food or beverage at the table
mandatory gloves or hand santitizer
probably going to have to double the rake to make up for the 5 missing playersComment -

#5I hate going to the grocery store now with all the bullshit you have to go through. Can’t imagine doing all that to play poker.Comment -
#6All tables will remain the same size however four max players will be the new normal. Plexiglass border separating players and dealers will be standardized. Chips will be awarded through a funnel where they will be cleaned and disinfected before being dispensed into year chip tray.
Cash will no longer be accepted at the tables or at the cash cage, all transactions will be credit or debit card. Massage Girls and food at the table will become non-existent.
Of course this is all 18 to 24 months away. Playing cards will be made of a Teflon based, bacteria resistant material that are self washing. I also heard you're going to have to bring your own chairs.
Besides that everything will remain the sameComment -
#7I guess this will be a great time for online poker to step up.Comment -
#8I think the smart thing for casinos to do would be to install those poker tables which are electronic, where every player has his own screen. I've seen 'em before, specifically the Crown Casino in Melbourne, but don't know of any U.S. casinos which currently have it.
All the social distancing in the world will be worthless when you have a group of people all handling the same chips and cards. Think about how many cards you touch over the course of a night and how many chips you touch.Comment -

The second will take time just because etg terminals have a lot of bugs and break down far too frequently.
Live poker will be one of last things to come online at casinos. Doesn’t generate enough revenue and a lot of players fall into “high health risk” category. I could see the Bellagio poker room getting action the second it opens though.Comment -
#10I just cannot imagine that here in the 21st Century that putting one of these together which runs reliably will be a terribly hardship. I haven't seen any electronic poker tables in the U.S. but I have seen more and more electronic craps, roulette and black jack.Comment -

#15Will be very sad for awhile. Poker is what got me to travel more. Always enjoy playing and meeting local people in Europe couple nights during trip.Comment -
#16no idea why electronic poker machines haven't caught on at casinos.
i would much rather sit in my space. i don't know how it works but i could imagine having my own TV and perhaps multi-tabling in the future..
why not just play electronic poker online, you say?.......... fishiness of player pool, getting out of the house, playing with cash in my pocket and getting paid same at end of the night etc. etc.Comment -
