#37NFL already wears masks when they play. And NFL will suck without fansComment -

#42Might be bad ratings, but at least they are at least trying to put a product out there each week. Haven't seen an issue with them have a catastrophic outbreak while they have been in their bubble.Comment -
#43Now shaqqq is saying scrap season
Seems NBA restart has fallen out of favor in public supportComment -
#44It looks like there’s none maybe next yearComment -

#46NFL will start as scheduled. NBA and NHL are done for the year.Comment -
-
#48They’re basically officially doneComment -

#50i think guys should work and learn with the games we have going on today, if and when the other games come back fine, if they dont we will have games to bet on, that a given......Comment -
#51Now that European Football and NASCAR are returning, I feel the tide is turning a little bit.Comment -
#53The risk factor is basically zero for athletes to dieComment -
#54heck the players will get paid, what the game come back or not, heck why would they want to play to add yrs to their bodies and health....Comment -

#57its just so obvious....any leagues that start just takes ONE SINGLE PLAYER on either team to test positive (which is like 1000% likely) then all teams go back into quarantine, nothing will last more than one/two games, then all will get shut down. The only debate is will all this clear by NFL season, which I highly doubt it will. And with no fans? Good luck with that. Hope I'm wrong.Comment -

Lot of money at stake obviously, so players would make the sacrifice or take a year off.Comment -
#59NBA and NHL very doubtful. I say not gonna happen. Baseball and NFL maybe but only if virus is kept under control. Without any cure/vaccine/effective treatment it is hard to imagine the virus will be kept under control. My guess is cases ramp up again as restrictions ease- I hope I'm wrong.Comment -
#60They could cruise around the southern tip of Africa. Let the Somalian Pirates soak in some live NBA action.Comment -

#62It's discouraging to hear how many people -- with no more private access to any pertinent
information than anyone else -- persist in these doom-and-gloom "predictions" with no
factual basis to do so.
All because of an almost comically huge and over-extended, hysterical reaction to an
epidemic with a 97% to 98% survival rate.
Initially, it made sense to quarantine the entire population but that period is over.
Hospitals have not been overwhelmed, and the country has flattened the overall curve
although hotspots remain.
Yet, we still have would-be prophets hanging out on internet forums (instead of street
corners) spouting their ill-informed BS. It's annoying to hear one after another say that
"nothing can happen until we have a vaccine." What nonsense. WE MAY NEVER DEVELOP
ONE. We still don't have one for HIV/AIDS, and several other fatal ailments. But we don't
shut down our entire country because of this fact.
How about giving it a rest, and letting those in charge of these professional and amateur
sports leagues make decisions on their own?Comment -
#63Oh, and one more thing: Can we give a well-deserved rest to that silly-assed
mantra that goes something like this:
"As soon as ONE PLAYER TESTS POSITIVE, they'll have to shut it all down!"
Really? Says who?
Why not just follow the usual protocols for highly-infectious diseases -- isolating
the infected individuals and treating them?....Along with IMMEDIATE testing of
anyone living/working/etc. with the stricken player? Seems to make perfect
sense in ALL OTHER CASES, why not for the SuperFlu?
But of course, that doesn't take into account all the OTHER factors (and hidden
agendas?) that are at work right now, does it?

#64Every day that goes by the less likely their sports this yearComment -
#65The NCAA has all but admitted that the College Football season will not start on time, IF it starts at all. They are running out of time to get things going. Students are no closer to going back to school now that they were a month ago. It will take YEARS, not MONTHS, to get back to normal.Comment -
#66NBA not resuming imo
They will announce soonComment -
#67UFC is back and working.. Setting the pathway for other sports to resume..
I'm feeling hopeful now that some other sports will begin to resume sooner then I had thought before.Comment -
#68
Worst thing is they cancel the fight
How does NBA and NHL do it
It would fall apartComment -
#69Thinking sports like Tennis, Golf and maybe even MLB can begin to resume as they are distancing sports by nature. Can test them before game time like they are doing in the UFC now.Comment -
#70
MLB can set they own timeline as they want I suppose
NBA and NHL would need to start resuming soon to Finnish by Labor DayComment
