How was it transmitted? Was the "social distancing" rule in effect at the South Korean bars and nightclubs? If so, were they enforced?

How did the South Korean medical profession know that patrons were infected? Maybe it's different in South Korea, but (I think) in these parts, you gotta have symptoms to be tested.

And what about the "herd immunity" theory? Hasn't it been established that an increase in cases would be imminent, and that, in itself, would precipitate the group immunization process? (through the natural antibody production process).

And I thought fatalities were the effect for the unfortunate elderly or infirm? Are there not young folk who have the virus, yet show no symptoms and "shrug it off" in a matter of days?

Lots of questions, but we have few answers.

That's probably where we will end up. I think a slow opening up is prudent to get people used to the new rules.

from that point forward we should want to have the maximum amount of infections daily that is just BELOW our max hospital/ICU/Ventilator limit for every region.

We can't count on a vaccine, so we need to learn to make adjustments and live our life freely but safely and get to herd immunity as fast as possible using healthy people while protecting the vulnerable.

its a bit of gamble that we actually will have acquired immunity after 1 infection and recovery. but the odds are in our favor and better than our odds in a decade long depression
