Agree with this. But to Brees defense, I don't think he said anything about the fact that taking a knee is disrespecting the flag. He just said to no to disrespecting the flag, if I'm correct. Not sure how he's going to handle it going forward, but I'm sure he'll get some backlash from the Kaepernick worshippers out there.

Honestly people are so over the top about what they think others people’s actions mean. Someone could tell them it has nothing to do with the flag and they will think what they want anyway. I’d rather see someone kneeling then burning the flag. A persons respect for the country and the military isn’t based on a symbol and it’s pathetic people get so worked up about the kneeling.
